Finished in Guards Red over Cashmere Beige upholstery, this 1995 Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine. Features include a black retractable soft top, a raised "basket handle" third brake lights, optional 8-way power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, Porsche-crested wheel center caps, and an upgraded Fabspeed exhaust system. This Carrera is finished in Guards Red (L80K) with a black soft top. Equipment includes headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a raised third brake light, dual exhaust outlets, and black brake calipers with white Porsche lettering. A set of 18” 911 Turbo-look wheels has been mounted with Michelin tires from 2022. The retractable top has been converted to manual operation, and minor paint wear is noted on the rear decklid. The seller reports that the right European-specification blinker is inoperative and the left one hyperflashes; the original bulbs are included with the sale. The Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather (LC) interior features optional 8-way power-adjustable front seats. Other amenities include a four-spoke leather steering wheel, climate controls, cruise control, central locking, power windows, and an aftermarket Alpine radio. All gauges and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order, with the exception of the convertible top button.
Power is derived from an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine factory-rated at 272 HP. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission, and stopping is provided by ventilated disc brakes with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). Additionally, a Fabspeed exhaust has been installed. Some service documentation is said to accompany the sale. Outstanding maintenance items are said to include the following:
- Oil leaks from upper valve covers, timing chain covers, and left lower valve cover
- Left-hand side leaks causing oil to pool on the exhaust and produce heavy smoke
- Cylinder 1 base gasket leaking
- Cylinder 3 spark plug wire cut
- Recommend engine reseal, distributor rebuild, belt replacement, and tune-up
- Broken fan housing and worn generator bearing; fan is beginning to crack
- Recommend replacement of alternator, fan, and fan housing (front and rear)
- Aftermarket air box cracked; recommend replacement
- Front trunk (frunk) struts will not hold the lid open; recommend replacement
- Front control arm bushings torn

Are there any paint meter readings since there’s a chance this car was “touched up” after the parking lot incident. Has the car been resprayed?
@Barrydow The system was removed and converted to manual operation. It is a normal modification because of all the issues the top system can have.
@CarConcierge thanks they do come with a hydraulic system that should open and close automatically. Do you know exactly what this issue is that needs fixing? Ie is it leak/hose connection or rebuild cylinders/pump?
@Barrydow The roof switch button only functions to latch and unlatch the roof when it is up.

The roof override switch lets you open and close manually. Does this one have any issue that stops it doing so automatically when you push the roof switch?
Hi, thanks for the question. We don’t have any detailed documentation on the 2011 incident, as it occurred prior to the current owner’s possession. Based on the Carfax report, it was classified as a very minor parking lot incident.
Are there any details of the accident? What damage was caused? What work was done?
Do you have any documents about the 2011 accident, such as repair receipts? It looks like the blinker/ (and headlight?) swap happened from that since it was the driver's side front corner, and the light fixtures don't seem to match to the passenger side. Thank you
