Featuring a mid-mounted 3.4-liter quad-cam engine with four valves per cylinder, the Ferrari 348 was the brand’s final V8-powered sports car produced under the direction of Enzo Ferrari. This 1990 example is a 348 TS finished in Nero over a matching Connolly leather interior. It comes equipped with a gated 5-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, a removable targa top, Scuderia fender shields, 18” Ferrari 360 wheels, an aftermarket exhaust system, air conditioning, power windows, an Alpine stereo, and a leather toolkit. Benefitting from recent services including a new battery, ignition coils, spark plugs, fuel pressure regulators, and a rebuilt alternator, this Ferrari 348 TS is now being offered for auction out of Oregon with approximately 38k miles showing on the odometer.

Designed by Pininfarina, the 348 features pop-up headlamps, flying buttress C-pillars, and distinctive horizontal louvers on the side air intakes, engine cover, and taillights. This example is finished in Nero with a matching removable targa top. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, Scuderia fender shields, quad exhaust tips, Ferrari-branded brake calipers, and silver 18” Ferrari 360 wheels. The seller indicates the front tires are new, and the rear grille and upper right-rear body panel were replaced following damage in 2022. The paint has been touched up around the fuel filler door, and some paint scratches are depicted around the exterior.

Inside, Nero Connolly leather upholstery covers the seats, dashboard, door panels, and center console. Accessories include manually adjustable bucket seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, a gated shifter assembly, a carbon fiber gear knob, Ferrari emblem floor mats, power windows, air conditioning, Veglia Borletti instrumentation, and an Alpine CD stereo. The seller notes that the window switches were replaced in 2023, and the air conditioning system is controlled by an aftermarket knob on the center console. Imperfections include separated trim on the driver’s door panel and cracks on the center console trim. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.

Featuring a dry sump oil system, dual throttle bodies, and Bosch Motronic engine management, the 3.4-liter quad-cam Tipo F119 V8 was factory-rated at 296 HP and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is factory-equipped with ventilated four-wheel disc brakes, and an aftermarket exhaust system has been installed. Recent service performed under current ownership includes replacing the fuel pressure regulators, spark plugs, ignition coils, battery, left throttle-position switch, a rebuilt alternator, and an oil change.

This sale will include a car cover and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Thanks everyone for viewing my auction. Up for sale is a beautiful Ferrari 348TS. It’s in remarkable shape. Sounds absolutely amazing, don't miss this chance to own a spectacular Ferrari.”

    In pictures 174/175 it looks like one of the underbody panels is missing. Do you have that panel?
    Simialrly, in picture 190, can you comment on what’s going on with that panel that looks kind of torn/melted?

    Hello everyone, I forgot to mention in this auction that the check engine light sometimes turns on. That is because of the exhaust. The car still passed smog with this exhaust.
    @jbauto
    Hi, I uploaded that photo, the heat works, but it does not blow really good. All the controls work the lights all light up also.

    I see error code E-1. displayed. That is an issue with the inside temp sensor. Looking at the Head and the broken faceplate, I suspect there is more going on here than meets the eye.

    Hi here is the photo of the knob.

  • jbauto (registered bidder) 6 days, 15 hoursago

    Aftermarket control knob? That electronic HVAC head controls all functions of hot-cold, mode and blend doors. You can't duplicate that with a knob. Does the HVAC work at all? Is the fuse under the frunk liner blown?

  • michaelp1usa (registered bidder) 1 weekago

    Is there a photo of the aftermarket AC control knob mentioned?

  • nobrakes (registered bidder) 1 weekago

    I own a 328 and love it. But the 348 has always been my favorite with its stout, slab style. Not always a fan of fitting larger later model wheels, but the 18's on this car look terrific. This and the 355 feature the labor intensive timing belts. Up to double what a 328 or 360 will cost. GLWTS

    Hi and thanks for your interest

    The repaint of the rear quarter panel and repair was done three owners back, the repaint and the repairs was done at the Ferrari dealership, was around 20,000 repair cost over 10,000 only labor work, I could not reach out to the owner who did the repairs, but according to the previous owner, the car had a scrape on quarter panel from backing out from his garage, the owner at that time he did not want to take to any other body shop for repairs. He went straight to the dealership because he was trusting Ferrari dealership. The paint matches perfect and the panels are straight.

    Details of the 2022 damage and repairs?

    @jbauto
    Hi, when we were buying it that was our main concern also. The pervious owner did not put much miles on the car, he bought it with around 37k miles. When he bought it he had a PPI done. He told us when the mechanic was checking it out the mechanic notice that the car already had a belt service recently done. He told us the previous owner before him didn’t know much about the history of the vehicle. He did some digging and the owner of the car that had it in 2021, he was a mechanic and did the work himself. He spoke with him and he said he did the belt service himself. We don’t have any records saying it was done. But there was a PPI done recently less than 1000 miles ago. And everything checked out. The PPI was done at Stewart’s Automotive in Sacramento, California, after the PPI was done around 8k in service was done. And no we don’t have any records of the jackshaft bearing or pump chain being done.

  • jbauto (registered bidder) 1 week, 1 dayago

    Black on black looks really good with those 360 wheels. When was the last belt service? And anything done with the jackshaft bearing and pump chain? That front chin lip is rare as hell. GL
