This 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet is presented in the desirable combination of Cassis Red Metallic over a Linen and Burgundy leather interior. It comes equipped with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle paired with a 3.2-liter flat-six engine, chrome 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels, an electric convertible top, power seats, air conditioning, and cruise control. Originally configured for sale in California, the car was registered in Hawaii from 1992 before being relocated to Nevada in 2003, where it was acquired by the seller earlier in 2025. Accompanied by service records dating approximately 30 years, this Carrera Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Arizona with just over 89k miles showing on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in the rare paint color of Cassis Red Metallic (L80D), complemented by a red power-operated convertible roof. The seller indicates that the paintwork and soft top are in excellent original condition. Equipment includes a front valence with integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a periscope-style third brake light, black bumperettes, and chrome 16” Fuchs forged alloy wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The tires are said to be in good condition with 2021 production date codes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Linen leather seats with matching carpets and door panels, contrasted by Burgundy on the four-spoke leather steering wheel, dashboard, and door toppers. Accessories include power-adjustable front seats, power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, analog VDO gauges, and an aftermarket stereo. The interior is said to be very well-preserved, with all gauges and accessories working properly.
Factory-rated at 217 HP and 195 lb-ft of torque, the air-cooled 3.2-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle. Stopping power is handled by power-assisted ventilated disc brakes. The seller states that service records are available dating back to 1995.
This sale will include a spare tire, a tire inflator, a car cover, a battery charger, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The paint and the interior on this car are original, the convertible top is still the original canvas. The seats have no rips or tears.”

The record show 930 turbo silicone valve cover kit was installed no valve cover leak leaks. The oil return tubes have been replaced with collapsible no leaks there. I found one small drop. It appears to be out of the pulley seal at the rear.
So is this being sold by a private party or a dealer?
So no leaks, drips or even seepage at all?

That is just shadows. There is no fuel seepage. under the gas tank.
Hi Chuck, can you list a quick rundown at your convenience on what major replacements and maintenance have been done regarding all the mechanicals including engine, transaxle, clutch, suspension, AC, etc.
Lovely car. Video appears to show some seepage or otherwise wet area on the underside near the fuel tank. Can you explain?

Light bulb relaced in tachometer.
I’m looking at photo # 60 and it appears that the gauge rubber gaskets are not seated correctly compared to the images #59 and #61. Can you please shed some light on why the gauges were removed.
Carfax shows 88, so we’ll go with that. Very nice G.
88 or 89? You state 89 as you describe the car.
This Cabriolet is so clean and in original condition. Amazing. I don’t know how they drove it this many miles without any wear. Take a close look at the driver seat.
Bid in the amount of $25,000
This is a special car everywhere I look. And a Cab has to have a light colored interior or you will burn your Butt in the sunshine IMHO. GL
Stunning car in a stunning color, GLWTS!
