The 2016 model year saw the introduction of a new RS variant of the 991 GT3 featuring more aggressive bodywork and a 4.0-liter flat-six engine generating 500 HP. This 2016 Porsche 991 GT3 RS is finished in GT Silver Metallic with matte paint protection film over a Black leather and Alcantara interior accented with GT Silver stitching. The car was further configured with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, the Front Axle Lift System, LED headlights in black with PDLS, an extended-range fuel tank, heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, the Sound Package Plus, the Sport Chrono Package, and more. This GT3 RS is now being offered for auction out of South Carolina with approximately 27k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to the standard 991 GT3, the GT3 RS features wider fenders with side air intakes inspired by the 911 Turbo, louvered front fenders, a lightweight magnesium roof, and a larger fixed rear wing. This example is finished in GT Silver Metallic and protected by matte paint protection film applied approximately three years ago. Additional details include yellow ceramic brake calipers, black LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), an aluminum-look fuel cap, and auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor. It rides on staggered 20"/21" GT3 RS wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires from 2022. The seller notes only a few minor blemishes, primarily on the PPF, along with scrapes on the underside of the front lip and one small chip visible from above. Inside, this GT3 RS features Black leather and Alcantara upholstery accented by carbon fiber trim and GT Silver stitching. Optional amenities include heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Alcantara sun visors, the Sound Package Plus, the Sport Chrono Package with Porsche Track Precision App, SiriusXM® satellite radio and HD radio receiver, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including a navigation module, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell.
The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine sends up to 500 HP and 338 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The GT3 RS reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). Optional equipment includes Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Front Axle Lift System, and an extended-range fuel tank (23.9 gal).

@ChadGee good morning, and thank you! Yes, the engine sticker located in the door jamb states the following: Engine MA176 G06494. The car has a build date of 10/16. The entire car is protected by the PPF and it is in great condition.
@ChadGee its a 4 liter engine. The finger follow issue was with the prior gen 3.8l engine. These models are solid.

@Bgoodie45 - not worried about it being tracked. I assumed it had been. Was wondering how much. Although it's a little paradoxical to have a roll bar and sofas.
@Duke Hi @Duke The most recent owner did not track the car at all in the ~2,000 miles he put on it. As far as the owners prior to that, we do not know for certain either way. We have no evidence that it has been tracked or not. To be completely honest, I would be surprised if it has never seen the track in its life, being an RS. But, again, we have no evidence either way. What I can say is that the car has been well cared for during its use. According to the DME data we pulled, the engine has not been over-revved (which I guess is sometimes more of a worry with manual cars) and close inspection of the body and underside of the car shows no signs of having ever sustained damage. I would say it’s likely it has been enjoyed on track at some point, but not to the detriment of the condition of the car.
