Introduced in 2015 as a high-performance version of the sixth-generation Ford Mustang, the GT350 features a unique “Voodoo” V8 flat-plane crank engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, track-focused tuning, a reworked suspension, and significant aerodynamic and cooling improvements. Finished in Magnetic Metallic with a black-painted roof over Ebony leather and suede upholstery, this 2016 Ford Shelby GT350 was further optioned with the Technology Package. Modified with even further enhanced cooling, reinforcing, throttle response, suspension, and more, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with approximately 17k miles showing on the odometer.
The Shelby GT350 features model-specific styling enhancements over the standard Mustang, including a lowered stance, widened fenders, additional cooling ducts, and quad exhaust tips. This example is finished in Magnetic Metallic with a contrasting black roof. Modifications include a ¾” lowered suspension with Ford Performance springs, LED turn signals, body-color valve and fuse box covers, jacking rails, and 19” Forgeline lightweight wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2015. Full paint protection film was applied in April 2024. The sale includes two car covers, the factory springs, a trunk-mounted matching spare tire, and the original set of factory wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this GT350 features a pair of manually adjustable Recaro front sport seats trimmed in Ebony leather and suede upholstery. Accessories include an Alcantara-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, a tilt/telescoping steering column, cruise control, a center console armrest, power windows, pushbutton start, a rearview camera, Track Apps, and a Shelby Exclusive Trim Package. The optional Technology Package includes heated and cooled seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, single CD storage with SiriusXM, and voice-activated navigation. Additionally, LED interior lighting has been installed, and an extra trunk lining has been added. The seller notes the launch control/line lock feature has not been used.
The Shelby GT350 is powered by a 5.2-liter V8 engine producing 526 HP and 429 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with a 3.73 axle ratio. The optional Technology Package adds an integrated driver control system, MagneRide damping, and HD front springs. Braking is handled by six-piston Brembo calipers on 15.5-inch rotors up front and four-piston fixed calipers on 12.6-inch rotors in the rear. As the Track Package was unavailable in 2016, the seller installed numerous Ford Performance Track Pack upgrades to enhance transmission and differential cooling, including a sensor wired to display differential temperature. Additional modifications and enhancements include camber plates for improved suspension adjustment, Steeda subframe reinforcement, a JLT oil separator, an MGW short-throw shifter, a JMS enhanced throttle response module, and a Mishimoto coolant tank replacing the factory plastic unit. The audio system has been upgraded with JL Audio amplifiers and an equalizer. A programmable DSC suspension control will be included with the car, though it is not currently installed. A new belly pan has also been fitted, split and joined with Dzus fasteners for easier access.
The sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a framed window sticker, a spare tire, the factory wheels, two car covers, and sales literature. Also included are commemorative items, including a Ford brake rotor, a business card holder, and a Ford mini flat-plane crankshaft.
The seller would like you to know: “This car is a blast to drive. The participation with the manual transmission, its excellent handling/braking, and the "music" from the engine makes driving it a very engaging/visceral experience. Whoever is lucky enough to be its next owner will love this car.”

A drive video is being uploaded (complete in approx 40 min). The camera mounting means/position isn't the best but it'll give an idea of what it's like inside the cabin. I'd advise to skip waiting for lights to change. ;>)

@r32fan I'll try to get out tomorrow first thing in the morning.
Can you do a driving video shifting through a few gears (even if short)? Thanks
Having just seen this car in person, the photos do not do it justice. This GT350 is virtually new. Perfect upgrades and its real eye candy. The build spec concept of less is more really works on this car. The exhaust note tells you this rascal is serious. No wings, no stickers, no stripes, just gogogo!

@nba19002 Hi nba19002
When the cars were released I was able to get an order slot and spec'd it the way I wanted. Stealthiness was the objective. It gets noticed enough as it is now.
As you can tell by the mileage, the yearly use did not lead to any service other than a yearly oil change, done by me. I use Amsoil Signature Series Synthetic 5w-50.
The tires were bought on sale a while ago and kept wrapped in plastic bags, installed last year. The tire shows 3815, 38th week of 2015. They have not had any problem holding in the corners.
The Forgeline rims weigh 21 lbs verses the original weight of the Ford rims of 31lbs.
To upgrade to a Track Pack Spec, I replaced the transmission with the Ford factory track version (has built-in pump) and added/conneted to factor radiator/hoses. The work was done by a shop at Sears Point, AV8, who specializes in Mustangs. Also added were the factory pump/radiator/hoses for the differential, that I opted to control with the factory sensor(in a well at the diff) controling a relay to start the pump when the temperature is reached. I also wired the sensor to the terminal that allows it to be read through the car's center console display. Ford Perfomance springs & sway bars, specific for the GT350, were also installed. I'm unsure if they are Track Pack versions but the setup dropped the car .75 inches.
The car has not been Tracked, Raced or Line Launched.
The DSC control was in for a while, that I programmed with different parameters, and am happy to pass on the variations I made. It currently has the the factory modual installed but is an easy swap, taking about 20 minutes.
I had the pre-sale smog done 8/13 and will add a picture of it to the photo gallery.
@slo55 - Lovely looking car with a nice, under-the-radar look without stripes or spoiler. Aside from the serviving at Sunnyvale Ford in 2023, were any other services/oil changes done? How old are the tires? Any idea how much lighter the rims are versus stock rims? Which Ford Performance Track Pack upgrades have been done? Has the car ever been tracked/raced? Is the car California emissions compliant? Was the DSG suspension control module ever installed on the car?
Hello and Welcome to the the auction of my car. It is a tremendous amount of fun. I have used it for fun drives on roads, mostly local, that have allowed me to enjoy the car's fantastic abilities. I am hoping it goes to a good home and someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.
