Developed by BMW’s in-house motorsports division as the high-performance version of the 3-series model, this fourth-generation M3 is powered by a naturally aspirated S65 V8 engine paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. This 2008 Canadian-market example comes finished in Space Grey Metallic over a Palladium Silver Novillo leather interior. Reportedly cared for by the original owner until the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2025, this M3 is now being offered for auction out of British Columbia showing less than 100k kilometers (~62k miles) on the odometer.
The exterior comes finished in Space Grey Metallic. M3-specific details include high-gloss Shadowline trim, fender vents with integrated LED turn signals, revised bumpers and side skirts, an aluminum power dome hood, quad exhaust tips, a rear decklid spoiler, adaptive Xenon headlights, and a carbon-fiber roof panel. This example rides on 19” Style 220 wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2018. Inside, the driver is greeted by Palladium Novillo leather upholstery. M-specific details include sport seats with large bolsters, a sports steering wheel with contrast stitching, and M3-logo doorsills. Also present on the steering wheel is the M Drive button, which allows numerous performance characteristics to be adjusted to suit the driver’s preference. Other equipment includes Anthracite headlining, heated front seats, automatically dipping side mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a power rear sunshade, iDrive with navigation, and Comfort Access. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Beneath the hood lies a naturally aspirated high-compression 4.0-liter V8 engine factory-rated at 414 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque stock. Utilizing a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, the M3 can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in as little as 4.8 seconds up to an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. Electronic Dampening Control is equipped as standard, which allows the driver to optimize suspension settings based on road conditions. The seller states oil changes are said to have been performed regularly and the throttle actuators have been replaced, although the rod bearings have not been replaced. Widely regarded as one of the purest driving experiences on the market, this M3 is not only a joy to drive but also a true future collectible. It has been meticulously cared for since new and continues to drive as if it just rolled off the factory floor—never abused and always cherished.
The throttle actuators have been addressed and repaired by a reputable German specialty shop. The EDC system is fully functional, with no leaks or issues. The rod bearings have not been replaced.
