Finished in Cobalt Blue Metallic over Terracotta Special Leather, this 2006 Porsche 987 Cayman S pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.4-liter flat-six engine. The car also came factory optioned with 19” Carrera S wheels, a Sport Shifter, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, the Power Seat Package, the Bose Surround Sound System, the Sport Chrono Package without PCM, automatic climate control, and more. It was first registered in Hawaii until 2015. Acquired by the seller and second owner approximately 10 years ago at nearly 10k miles. Now showing just over 62k miles on the odometer, this Cayman S is now being offered for auction out of New York.
This example comes finished in Cobalt Blue and features red-painted brake calipers, front fog lights, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual center-mounted exhaust tips. Options include the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, self-dimming mirrors with a rain sensor, and 19" Carrera S wheels with colored Porsche crests. It rides on ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires from 2023. Modifications include the addition of a center-mounted radiator, LED fog lights, and the removal of the rear badges. The seller notes some damage on the right-rear corner, some flaking clear coat, paint cracking on the rear bumper, and a dent on the right front fender. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents Terracotta Special Leather upholstery and matching floor mats. Optional amenities include a Sport Shifter, the Power Seat Package, the Bose Surround Sound System, and automatic climate control. Additionally, the Sport Chrono Package without PCM adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. Some wear is noted on the leather, the soft-touch paint is damaged in the rear, and the heater controls were refinished due to stickiness. A black dashboard top insert was installed, and the original piece will be included in the sale.
A mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 295 HP and 251 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0–60 MPH occurs in approximately 5 seconds, while stopping power is provided by fixed 4-piston calipers with ventilated and cross-drilled discs at each corner. The seller notes that a European Parts Solution oil feed line was installed at approximately 15k miles. Routine maintenance has included regular oil changes, radiator flushes, and brake fluid flushes. Additional service items include a new radiator water pump, new brakes, and replacement of the coil packs, spark plugs, and injectors at about 30k miles, followed by a new air/oil separator at approximately 45k miles.
This sale will include service documentation, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, an air pump, a car cover, a battery charger, two extra sets of Terracotta floor mats, one set of WeatherTech winter rubber mats, a front trunk black carpet mat, a rear window shade, additional Porsche wheels wrapped in Nokian winter tires, ACER titanium wheel bolts with security bolts, two sets of original Porsche wheel bolts, two luggage nets, a Porsche umbrella in the sill, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Fun car, we have enjoyed taking care of it over the past 10 years. Well cared for and garaged for all of its past 20 years.”

@jbauto It is fun. And it always receives a positive reception. Not as intimidating as some Porches. Thanks.
Car has to be a lot of fun! Looks great. GL
@luis.seneriz I followed Raby’s directions and took a look myself and did not see any scoring. The oil changes have been tested by SPEEDiagnostix and show no abnormal wear metals. Should be getting the latest report back in a few days. Can scan and upload those if that is of interest.

Being a cold climate car for the last ten years has the engine been scoped? Cobalt is a beautiful color.

@Jono2112 unfortunately never.
@groach Thanks! The cobalt does pop in the sun. The terracotta carpet mats clean surprisingly well.
Beautiful car! How often was it tracked?

I’ve owned many Porsches with black interiors, but my favorite was my 987 with Terracotta. This looks beautiful with Cobalt! GLWTA
