Among the most desirable versions of the final air-cooled 911, the Porsche 993 Carrera 4S sports the wide bodywork, brakes, and all-wheel-drive system of the Turbo model, coupled with a naturally aspirated engine and 6-speed manual gearbox. This final-year example is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic over a Cashmere Beige interior and features a sunroof, cruise control, a Becker Porsche CR-210 radio, and aftermarket RUF wheels. Originally a U.S.-market car, this 993 spent much of its time in California and Oregon before relocating to Canada. It is now being offered for auction out of Ontario with approximately 41k miles showing on the odometer.

Compared to a standard 993 Carrera 4, the 4S version features wider fenders and bumpers derived from the 911 Turbo. This example received a glass-out refinish in its factory-specified shade of Ocean Blue Metallic about one year ago and has been modified with RUF wheels. Other equipment includes integrated fog lights, projection headlights with washers, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, an electric sunroof, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The factory 18” 911 Turbo wheels will accompany the sale, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, the driver is greeted with Cashmere Beige and Black partial leather upholstery. Equipment includes a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, automatic speed control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Becker Porsche CDR-210 radio. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.

The last of the air-cooled 911s, this 1998 Carrera 4S is powered by a 3.6L flat-six engine paired with a VarioRam induction system and 6-speed manual transmission. As much as 282 HP is sent to all four wheels while stopping power is handled by large Brembo brakes shared with the 911 Turbo. The seller notes that H&R coilovers are equipped. The CARFAX report shows 8 service history entries, and no outstanding maintenance items have been reported.

I don't think tariffs apply to this car as it's over 25 years old but I could be wrong
Can you upload a few pictures around the sunroof outside and inside ?
And a video of its operation?
Thank you
@gfcollins911 With a glass-out respray, some variation in paint meter readings is normal. Different panels can pick up slightly more clear coat depending on the painter’s technique, angles, and how much material was needed to achieve proper coverage and finish. Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
@rchaas Everything has been uploaded including the videos. The only modifications to the car are the RUF wheels (comes with originals) and the H&R coilovers. We unfortunately do not have any documentation of the work done as it was paid in cash. The car was resprayed because of some chips and our client wanted the car to be absolutely flawless again. Hope this helps! Thank you!
@amardeil this always happens with carfax . From my experience of buying a few cars in the US in the past carfax always makes mistakes. You have to call in and get it corrected no biggie.
@amardeil We have reached out to CarFax and they will fix this inconsistency. It is a simple error. We unfortunately see it all the time. Thank you!
Looks like there is an odometer reading issue in the Carfax report, so not a clean carfax as stated?
I'm not well versed in paint meter readings, but it looks like a wide variation in the photos. Would one expect more uniform readings after a glass out refinish?

Pics of the undercarriage and factory wheels would be helpful, as would a driving video. Also, any documentation of previous work done, including the "windows out" paintwork? Any modifications or major work done on the engine and/or suspension?

The body copy says the car is in Quebec, but the details say Newmarket, Ontario. Can you clarify where the car actually is?
Listed as a private party sale? The seller comments infer otherwise. Just curious. Thx.

Nice car. Back in the day the all wheel drives were not preferred to the rear wheel cars and now bringing serious money similar to 991.2 Turbo S values…..low miles on this one should bring top money…
