This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe was reportedly the first RSR-style widebody conversion by RWB America, handcrafted by Nakai San in 2013. Finished in Nardo Grey over a reupholstered dark brown leather interior, the car is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six built by Bisimoto Engineering, featuring twin Turbonetics TN20 turbochargers, a Spearco intercooler, 1,000cc injectors, a MoTeC engine management system, an AEM water/methanol injection system, and a custom titanium exhaust system. This 911 also showcases custom RS-style door cards, a three-spoke Nardi steering wheel, Rennline floorboards, Bilstein coilovers, Elephant Racing suspension components, a Brembo big brake kit, custom HID headlights, and 18” Work Brombacher three-piece wheels. Benefitting from a recent service visit to RWB’s local headquarters, this one-of-a-kind widebody RSR-style 911 is now being offered for auction out of Florida.

The exterior has been hand-modified by Nakasi San, featuring signature extra-wide bolt-on fender flares, an RSR-style front spoiler, side skirts, and a 930 Turbo “Tea Tray” rear spoiler. Other additions include custom HUD headlights, a rubber front lip spoiler, front canards, Aero mirrors, a RAUH-Welt windshield banner, louvered rear quarter windows, an RSR-style rear bumper, and custom titanium quad exhaust tips. The exterior has been refinished in Nardo Grey, complemented by custom 18” Work Brombacher three-piece wheels with gold-painted centers and polished outer lips. A recent visit to RWB Florida included the installation of a new front lip spoiler and Toyo R88R tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX showing front-end damage reported in 2000.

The cabin has been redone with dark brown leather, including reupholstered front and rear seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard, custom RS-style door panels, and a new OEM headliner. Other details include a wood-rimmed Nardi three-spoke steering wheel, a wood gear knob, Rennline aluminum floorboards, power windows, cruise control, analog VDO gauges, and an Alpine Bluetooth head unit with aftermarket speakers. The air-conditioning system has been removed.

The air-cooled 3.2-liter was rebuilt and modified by Bisimoto Engineering with twin Turbonetics TN20 turbochargers, a Turbonetics wastegate and blowoff valve, a Spearco intercooler, 1,000cc fuel injectors, a MoTeC engine management system, and an AEM water/methanol injection system. It also features Cerakote black ceramic exhaust manifolds, a custom mil-spec wiring harness, titanium 3” downpipes and dump tubes, titanium intercooler piping, an aluminum oil catch can and sump tank, a 3-stage XRP fuel filter system, an AEM fuel pump, custom stainless-steel fuel rails, and Kevlar-reinforced fuel lines. The engine is currently tuned for a 400 HP output, while it's reportedly capable of producing up to 800 HP. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed G50 manual transaxle with an upgraded Action clutch. An upgraded Bilstein 911/930 coilover kit has been installed along with Elephant Racing suspension components, and a Brembo big brake kit with cross-drilled rotors. Recent service includes a valve adjustment, new valve cover gaskets, powder-coated valve covers, new intake manifold gaskets, new turbo air filters, oil tank lines, exhaust manifold studs, and an oil change.

This sale will include a battery trickle charger and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Legendary RWB, one of the first in the U.S, and the first RSR-Style RWB in the U.S.”
