this wheels on my 993 will look great !
@939 I looked over the hubs and saw no cracks. I sent in photos that will be posted soon.
@JC688 The offset of the 11” wheels are 63.5mm and the 9.5” wheels are 57.5mm
@939 Great thank you.
@jfunk - Regarding the width, the fronts are likely 8.5" (7.5" inner barrel and 1" outer) and the rears are 10" (8.5" inner barrel and 1.5" outer barrel).
To determine offset, measure the backspacing first: by placing the wheel face down (like picture #7), putting a straight edge (or level) over the rim, and measuring from the bottom of the straight edge to the mounting surface.
Knowing the width of the rims (as measured between the beads), divide the width by 2 to locate center of the rim (4.25" for the fronts and 5" for the rears). Subtracting 4.25" (F) or 5" (R) from the measured backspace will provide offset in inches. Convert to millimeters by multiplying by 25.4. Thanks.
@939 They have not been professionally inspected. They were only used on one car so only centerlock. I have not used these wheels personally but I don'y think they were used heavily because the previous owner rotated between three sets of rims.
@JC688 I don't know exactly what the offset is but I will work on getting that for you. Thanks
Hello,
Where the wheels centers ever inspected for cracks?
Where the wheels inspected for straigness? The soft aluminum lips (barrels) are prone to damage if driven aggressively over curbs on the track, or driving over a large pothole.
Where the wheels every mounted on five lugs or they were used only as center locks?
What is the offset for the wheels?
