The pinball machine is one of approximately 14,000 Evel Knievel themed models produced by Bally Manufacturing of Chicago, Illinois in the late 1970. The machine features a back panel and playfield with Evel Knievel imagery red, white and blue graphics, slingshots, flippers, drop targets, and pop bumpers.
The cabinet features digital score displays, glass playfield cover, tilt sensor and mechanical chimes. Bally began manufacturing solid-state pinball machines in 1977. This pinball machine was one of the earliest models produced where up to four players can compete during a round of play. A bank of drop targets provides bonus points when all five a knocked down and two out lanes with spinning gates provide access to the upper playfield.The backglass features a sequentially lit image of Knievel on his motorcycle jumping over a row of red double-decker buses amidst a cloud of smoke.
Individual score displays are provided for up to four players, along with a window showing ball-in-play and game credit tallies. The front panel includes two coin slots, game start button, and ball launcher. The playfield can be pivoted upward to access the components mounted underneath. The pinball machine measures 70" in height, 30" in width, with a depth of 54". The seller states the pinball machine is in excellent condition and is fully functional.
