    @GarageMonster Good evening,

    I was looking out some things for photographing today and noticed the official Ferrari edition of the Hublot Big Bang wall clock we have also shares the same F in question on the flight case. I just wanted to share that to hopefully reassure you.

    Many thanks

    @GarageMonster Thank you for the reply and for the clarification.

    I fully understand now what you mean. I am by no means an expert in this field but from what I know the Ferrari name font has had a number of variations over the years during certain decades, but especially so for products and items that are commissioned by dealerships.

    For example, a trophy statue that has been produced by the Ferrari Club Italia and previously sold here on PCarmarket, shares the same F in question. Please see the link below:

    It’s very much a similar situation with Porsche and the letter R. Some R’s from the 60’s were neatly curved and then when the 70’s came around they changed to a very straight style R. And then when the 90’s came around they had two R’s where one was curved and one had what could be described as a slash/sharp pointed R. There were also two crests in this period as well where the antlers in the bottom right were fully visible and a version where the top antler was slightly hidden behind the Stuttgart shield.

    A very astute observation you have made and one I had not noticed. I do still genuinely believe that this is an authentic sign and an exceptionally rare one as well.

    If I can help with anything else please just let me know.

    Kind regards

    Hi seller look at the top left edge of the F in Ferrari most are squared off and many of reproductions signs i see have that same edge slash cut i think for copy write reasons but this is just my observation unless an expert can explain the differences maybe in period?

    @GarageMonster Good morning, thank you for getting in touch.

    The gentleman my Father purchased this item from was always kept in high regard due to the quality of the items he sourced in Italy. That being said it can be difficult to obtain written or photographic evidence to validate authentication. I will certainly try and source additional information such as photographs if I can for you.

    With regards to the F in Ferrari, I would appreciate your further thoughts on this as I can’t quite see any issues when looking at it.

    Kind regards
