Available for auction is a captivating illuminated sign featuring the Martini Racing Alfa Romeo Racing design. This sign has dimensions of 19" x 19" x 3" and proudly showcases the iconic Martini Racing livery along with the Alfa Romeo Racing emblem. 
The concept for this remarkable logo came to designer Romano Cattaneo while strolling through the lively Piazza Castello in central Milan. It was on the walls of the Filarete Tower that Cattaneo encountered various heraldic interpretations of the Biscione Visconteo, the coat of arms of Milan, and the Visconti family who ruled the city during medieval times. The term "Biscione" refers to a "grass snake," and its connection to Milan might be traced back to a bronzed serpent keepsake brought to the city from Constantinople by Arnolf II of Arsago. These elements, combined with a representation of Milan's official flag—a red cross on a white background—have consistently defined all nine Alfa logos.
Crafted with a translucent plexiglass front and an aluminum frame, this sign exhibits a sophisticated appeal. Along the frame, you'll notice the presence of an official Alfa Romeo Racing Division sticker. 
The sign comes to life through the use of LED lights, creating an eye-catching display. It operates using a 220V UK plug. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.
