To Armo........I can't think of a more unique gift.....If you or anyone who wins the auction would prefer another piece that is more appropriate to a vintage car, I would be happy to substitute the Yacht piece. I have a number in my collection you could choose from and it would be no problem.
@UniqueAutomobilia @GREENWICHCARGUY - totally agree that vintage cars need vintage timers and it isn't about accuracy! Good they are in working order - thanks.
I saw the yacht timer at the end, it's just not in the first 'collection' picture. Considering these as a gift for a friend with several vintage cars.
Bid in the amount of $250
To Arno......The 2 Maylan, the Sportcrafrt and the Minerva were serviced in the past month as they weren't running correctly. All the others work properly but none were test for accuracy. In today's world these have been replaced for the most part with electronics. But they look great !!!!
Vintage cars need vintage timers.........
The picture is there just scroll down to the end. It is monuted with a painting of the winning Yacht and close up shots of the watch
Any invoices for repairs or cleaning? If not, any idea when they may have been serviced?
Bid in the amount of $200
just FYI, the Minerva Yacht timer Ref 315 isn't in the collection picture.
