Marking the end of an era for Porsche’s air-cooled 911 Turbo, the 993 generation was the first to pair a twin-turbocharged engine with an all-wheel drive system. This 1997 example is finished in Guards Red over a black leather interior and features a power sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, a remote CD changer, and automatic climate control. Benefitting from recent maintenance, this 911 Turbo is now being offred for auction by its seller out of Arizona with approximately 9k miles showing on the odometer.

Finished in Guards Red (L84A), the 993 turbo is distinguishable from a standard 993 coupe by its widened sills and rear bodywork, a body-colored rear spoiler, and redesigned bumpers with triple front air inlets. It rides on 18” Technology hollow-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2023 and additional equipment includes fog lights, headlight washers, a rear window wiper, and dual polished exhaust outlets. The seller reports that the hood shocks were replaced in preparation for the sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is upholstered in black leather and features matching floor mats with red Porsche lettering, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Porsche CR-210 head unit, a remote CD changer, and a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel. The seller notes that the air conditioning system was recharged in August 2022 and the driver’s seat backrest trim, upper door end cap trim, and cabin air filter were replaced in preparation for the sale.

Powered by an air-cooled twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six engine, the 993 Turbo sends up to 408 HP and 398 lb.-ft. of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Standard performance features include the dynamic Active Brake Differential (ABD), multi-link rear suspension, with stopping power provided by fixed 4-piston aluminum “Big Red” Brembo brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors front and rear. The seller notes recent maintenance to include the replacement of the driver’s front sway bar end link, along with the rear toe links and the brake fluid in March 2024. Additional recent services include fluid changes, new oil return lines, accessory belts, spark plugs, distributor rotors, ignition wires, a fuel filter, and intake hoses. The A/C condenser and the oil cooler were also cleaned.
