There are hundreds of pages, with detailed illustrations, photographs, and diagrams, all done when the cars were being built new. This is an invaluable resource for not only ‘seeing’ how the cars and sub-systems are assembled, but each part, part description, plus assembly and disassembly process is revealed. Most technicians, restorers and certainly DIY’ers would agree that the time savings and how their car looked originally are worth thousands over time. Plus, the ability to readily locate and identify parts is immensely helpful in ordering new.
Don't miss your opportunity to attain true Porsche knowledge in its purest form as well as literary history. Bid to own this rarely seen complete set, made rarer still by the exceptional condition. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

Hello watchers and bidders (hoping group 1 joins group 2!),
I'm compelled to comment partly as thanks for the bids and interest, and partly just to communicate and let you know I'm still out here. Was in my wife's cancer treatment all day Tuesday (my birthday also) which went super well. Now we're relaxing and able to think. All good.
This set of manuals was so revered and coveted by the previous owner (a very meticulous guy) that when I went to purchase his cars, a mint SC and the 914-6, he'd held these books back as 'something else he thought was interesting'. We go back into his study, open a locked bookshelf, and he pulls out a box with these very neatly stored.
He's looking at them like original printings of Dickens' novels, carefully opening and showing me how nice they are. Anyway, once the theater was done, I had to have them and told him just to put them on my bill.
That was about 4 years ago, and I've treated them similarly. A soiled hand has not touched them in my ownership and they too have been stored in my home, on a shelf, in a closeted bookshelf.
Enough of that. You know how rare they are, and how special. Hopefully you know too that they're nice enough for indoor display. My best to the fortunate winner. I'll carefully box and send - or, if you're close by - would be happy to meet you for the exchange. We can visit and lie about cars and talk Porsches as much as you like!

Hello and thank you @Workshop5001 for the bid. This set of manuals appears like it was only used in an office environment, NOT in a shop environment. It is that nice.
We've all seen various factory books that are water damaged or soiled from greasy fingers. This set is in absolutely remarkable condition for its age, not to mention how rare the complete set is in the first place.
Best wishes and ask any questions for details.
