Available for auction is a factory Blaupunkt CR-Typ US radio. The seller states that this radio was the highest option for the Porsche 911 Turbo (930), 928 and the 911SC cars from 1978-1980. The radio comes complete with speaker wires and power wires for a plug and play and a choice of radio face plates. 
The radio is original and works very well. There is crisp, clear sound from both channels offered on it. It must be noted that the cassette player requires attention. The cassette motor can be heard running with the original tape belt, but it does not play cassettes. All other functions work well, including FM/AM bandwidth, speaker control autopilot and radio specific auto tuning or manual scanning. This is an unrestored original radio. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

I have a European version of this radio as well. So if you have a Euro or ROW Porsche, i have factory radio as an option to this US Spec version
