@jduckworth the wires are for seat belt lamp on the dashboard. The red light lights up with “Fasten Seat Belts”. They plug into the wiring that powers that light.
What are the blue and black wire for on the seats? Heated seats? Thanks

It’s the final day of the auction for my Recaro seats. These will fit in any longhood Porsche but are correct for the 1972/1973 model year. All the mechanical mechanisms work great. I am around all day for last minute questions.
Cheers,
Phil

@MarkTodo Chrome seat hinges were earlier before 1972. From 1972 to 1973, Porsche made black hinges so that these seats would fit any long hood (65 to 73). They are correct for 1972/1973, for they have the black hinges with the tilt mechanism on the side and the seat belt warning wiring on the sides and underneath.

I have a 1970T that I am returning to stock, so I need the chrome verses the black. Cheers.
Its a shame that all of the work that went into these seats that they left out the Porsche crease. The hinges woud be easy to chrome. But the crease is a hard fix. Great on an outlaw.
