Up for auction is this collection of five collectible vintage rally timer stopwatches. All of these timers are reported to be fully functional and are each reversibly mounted to aluminum backing plates.
I. Set of two (2) Junghans 60-minute, 60-second, spilt-second vintage stopwatches. Made in Germany, this set of Junghans stopwatches feature separate white and off-white dials and comprise three separate registers - a minutes register up to 60 minutes, a second register, and a tenth-of-a second register that operates similarly a four-bladed propeller. One additionally unique factor about the watch is that when running, the minutes and seconds move continuously, while the tenths hand clicks instantly from one mark to the next. Mounting Measures: 5” x 3” x ½”.
II. Set of two (2) Sportcraft/Gallet vintage stopwatches. The first is a Sportcraft dual-pusher 60-second, 15-minute center dial watch with alternating black and red numerals. Sportcarft was a division of Hanhart, a well-known manufacturer of timepieces for scientific, athletic and racing applications. The second is a Gallet dual-pusher 60-second, 15-minute center dial watch with black and red numerals. Gallet is the world's oldest watch and clock making house with history dating back to Humbertus Gallet, a clock maker who became a citizen of Geneva in 1466. Gallet has become recognized as the “Maître du Chronographe” or Master of the Chronograph. For over 550 years, Gallet timepieces have been the first choice for the world’s most important timekeeping applications. Mounting Measures: 5” x 2 ½” X 3/8”
III. One (1) Clebar slide-start and stop with center stem reset. This unit features a 60-second dial with 30-second center dial and red 60-numeral indicator that likely dates it back to the 1950s. Clebar was founded in 1925 in Le Locle Switzerland and produced timepieces ranging from stopwatches to wristwatches. In time, the brand formed a very close link with Zodiac. Historically, Clebar and Zodiac were both distributed by the same USA importer during the 1960’s, but at some point, the brands split. Now, as many know, Zodiac is owned by Fossil and Clebar has been resurrected independently. Mounting measures: 3 ½” X 2 ½” X 3/8”
A popular accessory and an essential piece of rallying equipment, these vintage timers will complement the look of your classic vehicle while offering handy functionality. The buyer is responsible for shipping, handling, and fees.

Here's an example of a Junghans stopwatch for sale now https://www.chrono24.ca/junghans/pocket-watch-pocket-watch--id9201298.htm
Junghams stop watches offer the following:
Precision
1/10 of a second is as precise as the human hand can measure, or the mind can fathom.
While electronically-triggered timers may need to be more precise, for a hand-held stopwatch, 1/10 is perfect.
Long-Time Intervals
With a separate minute hand, this Junghans stopwatch reads to 60 minutes, then repeats.
Most other 1/10 mechanical stopwatches only read to 15 minutes before repeating.
Non-Conflicting Hands
Other stopwatches use fewer hands that cover each other. No matter what the setting, this stopwatch's hands are always easy to read.
Accuracy
Other mechanical watches aren't accurate to tenths even after 15 minutes, while these are consistent and allows accurate 1/10 measurements even at one hour.
Mechanical Configuration
Advantages of its mechanical movement are no batteries are ever needed. Operate easily with one center pusher. These Junghans watches are about 40 years old, and still run perfectly.
See above for some details on the Sportcraft, Gallet and Clebar timers.
