An officially licensed Shelby Cobra replica, this Superformance MKIII is powered by a 392ci stroker V8 paired with a 5-speed Tremec manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in yellow with black stripes over a black leather interior and features four-wheel disc brakes, adjustable coilover suspension, Hallibrand-style 15” knock-off wheels, side exit exhaust pipes, a driver’s roll hoop, quick-jack bumperettes, analog Smiths gauges, a reverse lock-out shifter, yellow lap belts, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. Acquired by the seller in 2023, this Superformance MKIII is now being offered for auction out of Florida with under 2k documented miles showing on the odometer.

Finished in yellow, the fiberglass bodywork is adorned with black racing stripes, quick-jack bumperettes, side-exit exhaust pipes, and a polished Le Mans-style fuel filler. Other equipment includes a driver-side mirror, wind wings, fender vents, a black driver’s side roll hoop, yellow grille-mounted driving lights, a hood scoop, exhaust heat shields, and a removable black soft top with side curtains. The car rides on 15” Hallibrand-style wheels with safety-wired knock-offs and Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires measuring 255/60 in front and 275/60 at the rear. The seller notes a crack in the hood scoop and some imperfections in the paint on the front end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.

The cabin features a pair of black leather bucket seats with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Accessories include a Cobra-branded wood-rimmed steering wheel, yellow lap belts, a reverse lock-out shifter with a yellow gear knob, tinted sun visors, a dashboard-mounted rearview mirror, analog Smiths gauges, Cobra-branded floor mats, AC pedal covers, and a Superformance MKIII plaque mounted on the glovebox door.

Power comes from a 392ci stroker V8 engine featuring aluminum cylinder heads, Cobra-branded valve covers, a chrome air cleaner assembly, an electric choke, braided stainless-steel fuel lines, yellow ignition wires, electric cooling fans, a remote oil filter, and a front-mounted oil cooler. The rear wheels are driven through a 5-speed Tremec manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, unassisted rack & pinion steering, and independent suspension with adjustable coilovers at each corner. The brake system, gearbox, and differential fluids were changed in 2023. Additionally, the Superformance chassis number 5F08C28551 matches the VIN on its Georgia title, which indicates that the vehicle has four cylinders. The car's frame is stamped with a 17-digit VIN AC9CSLK1397AM1247.

This sale will include a soft top, a tonneau cover, and a clean Georgia title designating the car as a 1965 Ford Cobra.
