An especially sought-after year for the 911 Turbo, the 2009 model features the updated Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system of the 997.2 generation while retaining the coveted 3.6-liter Mezger engine of the 997.1. This 2009 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe is finished in Speed Yellow over Black full leather upholstery and is factory-equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, Exterior Package Painted, Sport Chrono Package Turbo, Parking Assist System, Speed Yellow seatbelts, and heated Adaptive Sport Seats with painted backrests. Said to have remained registered to the single owner in New York and Florida before the selling dealer’s acquisition, this Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Connecticut with approximately 3k miles showing on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in Speed Yellow and features the Exterior Package Painted which adds a body-colored front spoiler, bumper grilles, side air intakes, and lower rear valence. Other equipment includes optional painted side skirts, bi-xenon headlights, fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, a power sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, parking sensors, red brake calipers, and 19” 911 Turbo wheels. New Continental ExtremeContact Sport Plus tires were installed in June 2024 and the front bumper and lower front spoiler are said to have been refinished under the seller’s care. The original rear Turbo badge has been removed and is included in the sale. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Black full leather upholstery complemented by Speed Yellow seatbelts and painted Adaptive Sport Seat backrests. Accessories include an Alcantara headliner, front seat heating, driver seat memory, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, a Bose sound system, a 6-disc CD changer, an XM Radio receiver, a Bluetooth phone interface, universal audio interface, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The footwells have also been lined with custom two-tone coco floor mats.
Rated at 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque, the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine delivers power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo enables an overboost setting for a temporary peak increase of 505 lb.-ft of torque. The car comes standard with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and fixed 6 and 4 piston brake calipers with cross-drilled 350mm rotors. Service in 2024 included replacing the battery, spark plugs, and clutch/brake fluids.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, service records, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very, very special car.”

@zerochance both parts were removed before being prepped, then painted off of the car. Then reinstalled. We’d never have a bumper painted in place (or chin spoilers). Thank you!

@RapleyClassicCars I have a question about the front bumper repaint work. Was the bumper removed, repainted and then reinstalled? Or painted in place?
@FamilyOfficeGuy these wheels are the factory 'black' wheels. The inner black portion on the wheels is what that window sticker indicates. These are the original OEM wheels ordered and delivered with this car from new. Thank you!
-RCC
Do you have the factory black wheels per the window sticker?

@BOOOM thank you! Yes, we didn't hit reserve there. I will say this, it is a reasonable number, and might be surprising to many.
@Imthedecidah we like your style :)

Gorgeous Turbo! Awesome pics! Good luck to everyone bidding.
She was recently on BAT, reserve not met at $175k, which tells me the reserve has to start with a 2 on it.
SY on this car is #1. I bought one almost a year ago and… Smile, smile, smile! - Every-damn-day! The Speed Yellow color is especially stunning here in the Rockies as the Aspen leaves begin their annual change. Must say, the 997 TT is the best GT car I have ever driven - first key I look for when someone at the kitchen counter blurts out… ‘Cross-country road-trip?’ - GLWA!
