Up for auction is this 2008 BMW E90 M3 sedan finished in Alpine White over a black Novillo leather interior. Representing the fourth generation of BMW’s high-performance M3 model, the E90/92/93 series were the first and only M3s to have been equipped with a V8 engine. This 2008 example features a highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission and was generously optioned including the Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Technology Package, Electronic Damper Control (EDC), 19” wheels, a glass sunroof, blue-gray brushed aluminum trim, BMW navigation, and a premium sound system. Cared for by three prior owners, this E90 M3 has been driven sparingly and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania showing approximately 24k miles on the odometer.
This M3 sedan comes finished in Alpine White III (300) accented by high-gloss Shadowline trim. In comparison to a standard 3-Series sedan, the M3 features broader wheel arches, front fender vents with integrated LED turn signals, more aggressive front and rear fascias, flared side skirts, an aluminum power dome hood, quad exhaust tips, and a rear decklid spoiler. Noted imperfections include minor curb rash on the passenger-side front wheel and license plate holes drilled into the front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. The optional staggered-width 19” BMW Style 220 forged wheels are currently mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The interior is trimmed in black Novillo leather with deeply bolstered sport seats, a leather-wrapped three-spoke M-Sport multifunction steering wheel, an Anthracite headliner, M3 aluminum door sills, and blue-gray brushed aluminum inlays. The optional Premium Package equips power-folding mirrors, a digital compass mirror, and BMW Assist, while the Cold Weather Package provides heated front seats, retractable headlight washers, and a rear-seat pass-through with a ski bag. The Technology Package includes Comfort Access keyless entry and ignition, a BMW navigation system, an upgraded sound system, M Drive selectable drive modes, and Electronic Dampening Control, which can adjust the stiffness of the shock absorbers via a button mounted on the center console. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, extended interior lighting, and rain-sensing automatic windshield wipers. The seller reports minor signs of wear commensurate with normal use.
The E90 M3 is powered by a naturally aspirated high-compression S65 4.0L V8 engine that generates up to 414 HP at a redline of 8,300 RPM. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission that allows the M3 to reach 60 MPH in as little as 4.8 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. This M3 has been fitted with an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system, while factory performance features include the M-Drive system, Electronic Damper Control, and a variable M limited-slip differential. The suspension incorporates forged control arms and an aluminum front subframe. The M3 also receives larger brakes, stiffer rubber bushings, shorter and stiffer springs, and larger anti-roll bars compared to a standard 3-Series. CARFAX shows maintenance to have been carried out by the original selling BMW dealership from new up until 2012 at 17k miles, as well as the most recent safety inspection completed in September of 2021 at 23k miles.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner's manuals, and a clean title (lien). The E90 M3 has become increasingly sought after and hard to find, this low mileage 6-speed 2008 example presents an excellent opportunity to own a future classic.

@rencarnacion Im not sure that the listing shows, I have a few shots of the undercarriage, I can assure you it is just as pristine as the outside, the car has never seen salt or snow!
Bid in the amount of $27,500
Might have missed it in the listing but are there any undercarriage photos?
@msvecharny Thank you
@PCarMartJM So the car has no accident, the title is clean and the car actually doesn't have a lien on it! The title is a Pennsylvania title.
HI,
I see on the Carfax that the 2nd owner had it at Geese auto salvage for inspections - was this car ever in an accident?
Any branding on title?
What state is title held?
How do you propose to handle the purchase given lien noted in write up - pay lender, lender pays you and releases title to buyer?
Thank you

@jeffnlexi yeah I would say the biggest flaw of the car is the bumper holes… otherwise.. this car is pretty close to prestine!
Thanks, I did see the holes, which tells me the other areas, which in the pics look like possible scratches or clear coat issues must just be reflections.
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@msvecharny exhaust is an AFE catback
@jeffnlexi battery is new, front tires are new but tears are not. Depth to all tires are good! The front bumper does have holes in it due to being a New Jersey car originally.
Can you tell me if I’m seeing paint issues on the front bumper or is that just some sort of lighting/shadow situation?
Exhaust brand?
Tire tread depths?
Any date code visible on the battery?
Thanks

@WsmataU rod bearings have not been done
Have rod bearings been replaced?
Thank you everyone for checking out my M3! I have absolutely loved this car and I hope the next owner does too! This car is a car that I will kick myself for selling in the future, again.. thank you for viewing and if you have any questions please let me know, I will try to comment right back!
