Up for auction is this low-mileage 2007 997 Turbo. Equipped with the legendary Mezger engine and a manual transmission, this 997 represents one of the most desirable water-cooled Porsches to date. This example was sold new at Sewickley Porsche and remained with the original owner up until 2018. Now showing only 21k miles on the odometer, it is being offered for auction in pristine overall condition by its third owner in New York.
This 997 is finished in factory Guards Red paint that is said to be fully original (paint meter readings are provided in the gallery photos). The seller does state that the only noteworthy flaw on this pristine Turbo is a small area of touch-up on the rear driver’s quarter panel. Factory Turbo wheels are showing to be in excellent shape and come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. With lustrous Guards Red paint and distinctive wide fenders, this Turbo’s appearance is nothing short of phenomenal.
Inside, you will find a black full leather interior that remains in excellent condition. The factory optioned supple leather front and rear seats show to be in great shape, reminiscent of a new vehicle. All electrical components, accessories and gauges are said to be in great working order. This Turbo carried an original sticker price of $128,780 and comes equipped with the following options:
This 997 Turbo carries a highly sought after 3.6L turbocharged Mezger engine that produces approximately 488HP and 457 lb-ft of torque. Originally developed for the 911 GT1 Le Mans car, the Mezger engine is regarded by many Porsche experts to be the holy grail of water-cooled engines. Power is delivered to all-four wheels by way of a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, making for a truly unadulterated driving experience. This 997 features a stage 1 FVD tune which increases horsepower while optimizing overall engine performance. With all records from new, this 997 comes with a clean bill of health and is said to drive beautifully. A DME report is available in the photo gallery.
Included in the sale of this Turbo will be original books, documentation since new, two sets of keys, comprehensive service records and a clean Carfax report. This vehicle is accompanied by a clean New York title with lien. An iconic car in an ideal configuration, this collector-grade 997 Turbo is not to be missed.

Good luck to seller and the happy buyer.
Great to see one of these cars in a real color!
@CurtGT3RS the client dropped it off at our facility for photos and potential showings during the auction. It can be picked up directly from us within 5-7 days from auction end.
@PCARMARKET Thank you. If I bid and win, where would I pick up the car?

Rear tires are 41st week of 2014 and 39th week of 2014
Hope this is helpful and thank you.
@CurtGT3RS the car is at PCARMARKET headquarters cant give you date codes at the moment. Tires are in good shape but are not brand new.
@CurtGT3RS the car has no leaks, no issues with the coolant. The coolant lines have not been pinned .
Also - what are the date codes on the tires? Thanks!
Gorgeous car - Have the coolant lines been replaced? Is there any leaking?
@userabc123 @Hartclay Yes. Auctions are reserve style unless otherwise stated. Thank you.
Is there a reserve on this?
Bid in the amount of $62,000
Thanks for catching that. Its just a type-o stock motor only modification is the Tune. And the tune has only been on the car for approximately 1.5 years and minimal mileage .
The Mezger engine in this car is 3.6 liters unless it has been modified, something I've never heard of happening. If you want more power on a turbo displacement ins't the way to get there.
Bid in the amount of $50,000
