Developed by BMW’s Motorsport division, the M2 is the high-performance variant of the 2 Series. The second-generation model debuted in 2023, sharing its platform with the outgoing M3 and M4 while drawing power from a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S58 inline-six engine, which received increased output for the 2025 model year. This example is finished in Twilight Purple Metallic over Black Merino leather and equipped with the optional Carbon Package, the Lighting Package, remote engine start, a heated steering wheel, Parking Assistant, and Live Cockpit Pro with a head-up display. Showing fewer than 3k miles, it is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.
Compared to the first generation, the second-generation M2 (G87) features a lengthened and widened wheelbase. This example is finished in striking Twilight Purple Metallic and equipped with a carbon fiber roof as part of the Carbon Package, along with adaptive full LED headlights included in the Lighting Package. Additional details include Shadowline exterior trim, a rear decklid lip spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, red M-branded brake calipers, and staggered 19”/20” M dual-spoke wheels wrapped in 2024-dated Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. Ceramic coating has been applied, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with Black Merino Leather and the Carbon Package, which adds M Carbon Bucket Seats, carbon fiber trim, and the M Driver’s Package. The mid-cycle refresh introduced a flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel with a red 12 o’clock marker. Additional options include remote engine start, a heated steering wheel, Parking Assistant, and Personal eSIM 5G connectivity. Standard equipment consists of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, illuminated M trim, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System, and an Anthracite headliner.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S58B30T0 straight-six engine factory-rated at 473 HP and 442 lb-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. Standard performance features include an M-tuned exhaust system, a track-ready cooling system, M Compound brakes, an M Sport differential, and Adaptive M Suspension. The seller states that a break-in service was completed, and the next service is due in approximately 9k miles. The vehicle remains covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, and a spare tire.
The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for visiting my auction. This is my fourth BMW and first M car (I had a picture of an M car when I was 5). It's just 6 months old, and I need to part ways as I am moving out of the US. It has a unique purple shade - there hasn't been a day when I took it out and returned without a compliment. Some compliments I've gotten used to hearing:
1. I love your purple sports car - a 70-year-old lady once stopped me while moving out of the parking to just tell me this :-)
2. You are lucky bro
3. You have got a winner
4. Several dipper flashes (bro code)
The plan was to keep it and own it forever, but it seems like fate has other plans for me.”

The car has driver’s package:
1) Top speed of 177 mph instead of standard 155 mph
2) 1 day ticket to BMW performance center - take your car to the track
I think this is one of the best paint and form factor combination from the BMW stable.
