Based on the 992 Carrera 4 GTS Coupe, the 911 Dakar pays tribute to the legendary Porsche 953 Carrera 4x4 that triumphed at the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally. This limited-edition model boasts extensive off-road enhancements, including variable-height raised suspension, underbody protection, rear-axle steering, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Fuchs-style wheels with Pirelli All-Terrain tires, lightweight glass, a carbon fiber GT3 hood, and a cooling system derived from the 911 Turbo S. Finished in White and Gentian Blue Metallic, this 2024 example features the Rallye Design Package, Rallye Design Package Interior, and a selection of premium options. Showing approximately 1,400 miles on the odometer, this 911 Dakar is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
The 911 Dakar comes equipped with a carbon fiber hood sourced from the GT3, a rear diffuser, lightweight noise-insulated glass, black Sport Exhaust tailpipes, Satin Black window trim and rear decklid slats, red brake calipers, and LED-Matrix Design headlights in Black. Additional features include stainless-steel underbody skid plates, black wheel arch extensions, and black side skirts with stainless-steel inlays. This example is finished in a striking two-tone White and Gentian Blue Metallic color scheme as part of the $32k Rallye Design Package, paying tribute to the 1984 Porsche 953 with decorative Gold and Red stripes and White-painted 19”/20” 911 Dakar wheels. A clean CARFAX report and detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the premium Rallye Design Package enhances the interior with Black leather upholstery accented by Shark Blue stitching and extended Race-Tex and leather trim. Additional highlights include Ceramica accents, a GT Sport steering wheel wrapped in Race-Tex with a contrasting Shark Blue 12 o’clock marker, Shark Blue seatbelts, and LED puddle light projectors. The full carbon fiber bucket seats feature 911 embroidery and deviated stitching in Shark Blue, while the 911 Dakar dashboard plaque confirms this example as #2318 of 2500 units produced.
Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine producing 473 HP, paired with an 8-speed PDK transmission to drive all four wheels. The 911 Dakar features a 50mm-raised Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, complemented by a front and rear axle lift system, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), rear-axle steering, the Sport Chrono Package, and a Sport Exhaust System. Borrowing a cooling system from the 911 Turbo S, the Dakar also includes an Off-Road driving mode. It sprints from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.2 seconds and offers a maximum ground clearance of 6.3”.
This sale will include a clean title.

Bid in the amount of $290,000
Barrett Jackson just sold on of these for $335k. I think after topping out at $450k in late 23 and dipping to $295k in late 24, $325-$335k seems about right.
Great beater indeed!
