The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST has premiered as the inaugural all-electric Silverado, featuring advanced technologies such as four-wheel steering, a midgate design, adaptive suspension, and up to 10,000 lbs. of towing capacity. It harnesses near-instantaneous torque from its dual electric motors, derived from the GMC Hummer EV powertrain with up to 440 miles of range. This Silverado comes finished in Black and features upper & lower active aero shutters, a fixed glass panoramic roof, side steps, Chevytec spray-on bedliner, LED cargo area lighting, and a soft roll-up tonneau cover as standard equipment. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH was achieved in just 4.1 seconds as tested by Car and Driver. Performance features include Adaptive Air Ride suspension, Active Rear Steering, 4-wheel antilock disc brakes, rear towing capacity of up to 10,000 lbs., and an integrated trailer brake controller. Additionally, a DC fast charging 800V, up to 350 kW, allows for fast charging including 100 miles in just 10 minutes as tested by GM. This Silverado EV is accompanied by the factory 3-year/36-month bumper-to-bumper and 8-year/100,000-mile Electric Vehicle Propulsion warranties.
