Developed for Toyota Gazoo Racing’s 86/BRZ-Spec championship, the Toyota GR86 Cup is a purpose-built factory race car. It features a 2.4-liter boxer engine paired with a SADEV 6-speed sequential transmission, a limited-slip differential, JRi 2-way adjustable shocks, Alcon brake calipers with floating discs, Bosch MS6 traction control, 18” Rotiform forged aluminum wheels, an OMP fiberglass racing seat, an onboard fire suppression system, a Bosch DDU 11 digital dashboard, an FIA-regulation roll cage, and a carbon fiber rear wing. This 2023 Toyota GR86 Cup is the 43rd example produced out of 100 cars built for the spec series. It was campaigned along with a sister car under the owner’s possession during the 2023-2024 SRO GR Cup series. This GR86 Cup is now being offered for auction out of Texas with just over 2k miles showing on the odometer, accompanied by a complete TRD spare parts package, two additional sets of wheels, and a new custom-painted TRD racing helmet.
The GR86 Cup features a steel body with an aerodynamic package including a carbon and ShieldCore thermoplastic composite front splitter and a carbon fiber rear wing. Other equipment includes hood and trunk lid latches, OMP tow straps, and a billet aluminum remote fuel filler. This example is finished in white and rides on 18”x8” Rotiform forged aluminum wheels dressed in new Continental racing slicks. Two additional sets of wheels are included. The seller notes the bodywork is straight and the exterior finish is in good overall condition.
The lightweight racing interior is fortified by an FIA-regulation high-strength roll cage and features a fiberglass OMP racing seat, a quick-release OMP racing steering wheel, carbon fiber door panels, an FIA-approved OMP 5-point safety harness, an OMP fire suppression system, and a Bosch DDU 11 digital driver display. An SRO-legal ballast system has been fitted along with a Racelogic VBOX video recording system.
Rated at 228 HP and 184 lb.-ft of torque the 2.4-liter FA24 DOHC boxer engine features a stainless-steel Borla exhaust system and Bosch MS6 engine management. The rear wheels are driven through a SADEV 6-speed sequential transmission with a Dynotech lightweight driveshaft and Torsen limited-slip differential. The suspension includes a TGR-NA-designed MacPherson front strut and multi-link double wishbone rear setup with JRi 2-way adjustable shocks at each corner. Stopping power comes from Alcon 4-piston front and 2-piston rear brake calipers paired with floating steel discs. The car also features Bosch MS6 traction control, Bosch M5 Motorsport ABS, and a 22-gallon ATL FT3 fuel safety cell. The seller states the engine has 46 race hours and 2,280 miles, and the gearbox was rebuilt and fitted with a new clutch approximately 500 miles ago.
This GR86 Cup is offered with a bill of sale, two extra sets of wheels, a new custom-painted TRD racing helmet, and a complete TRD spare parts package.

@jmorin let me check. I’m not sure this car has time on ECR. But they run a few out there. I’ll get you a time.
Please post in-car race videos.
Also, were there any impacts that caused damage requiring repair or replacement of body work, suspension pieces, etc.?
Bid in the amount of $35,000
What kind of lap times does this car run at ECR with a decent (non-pro) driver?
