The second model from California-based electric automaker Rivian, the highly anticipated R1S is equipped with four electric motors with 835 HP that propel it from 0-60 MPH in just over 3 seconds while offering extensive creature comforts and off-road capabilities. This 2023 Launch Edition comes finished in an exclusive debut color and is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Texas showing just over 1k miles on the odometer.
This R1S is finished in Launch Green exterior paint and includes tow hooks, optional reinforced underbody shielding, and 20” All-Terrain wheels and tires. Safety features include Dynamic Brake Support, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, surround sensors, rear cross-traffic warning, automatic high beams, blind sport warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assistance, adaptive cruise control, Highway Assist, and Driver+.
The cabin features Black Mountain vegan leather upholstery with Compass Yellow accents, Dark Ash wood trim, Launch Edition badging, and a 100% recycled microfiber headliner. Amenities include heated and ventilated seats, driver and passenger lumbar adjustment, a heated steering wheel, a trunk-integrated air compressor, and Rivian Elevation audio by Meridian.
Two electric motors are mounted on each axle and draw power from a 135-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery for an output of 835 HP and 908 lb.-ft of torque. The EPA estimated driving range is 289 miles and the R1S could accelerate from 0-60 MPH in just 3.1 seconds according to a study by Car and Driver. The Launch Edition includes a larger battery pack as standard equipment as well as a regenerative braking system, air suspension, and kinetic roll control. The balance of the manufacturer’s original warranty remains in effect.

Hey Guys - I ordered this car in 2019 and finally took delivery a few weeks ago. It’s an absolute beast and a joy to drive.
