Commemorating the 50th anniversary of Porsche Design, Porsche created a special edition 911 based on the Targa 4 GTS. The flagship of the Targa model range, each 911 Edition 50 Years Porsche Design example showcases platinum exterior accents over an all-black canvas with a host of black-finished exterior and interior packages, 20/21” Turbo S wheels in Satin Platinum, a Black leather interior with Slate Grey stitching and checkered Sport-Tex seat centers, and much more. #256 of a limited 750-unit production run, this example comes finished in Jet Black Metallic and features a 7-speed manual transmission. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Michigan while showing just under 200 miles on the odometer.
Harking back to Porsche Design’s very first product, the Chronograph 1, the Porsche Design Targa is showcased exclusively in Jet Black Metallic with "PORSCHE DESIGN” logo stripes applied on each side in Satin Platinum. Exterior details include the SportDesign Package in High Gloss Black, SportDesign side skirts in High Gloss Black, exterior mirror lower trim and base in exterior color, and rear lid grille vertical slat inlays in Satin Black. The black fabric Targa roof is contrasted by a Targa bar in Satin Platinum. A minimalistic “911” model designation decorates the rear end along with a “PORSCHE” logo in Satin Black and Sport Exhaust tailpipes in Black. Lighting is provided by LED-Matrix Design headlights in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and a taillight strip with a Porsche designation. Brake calipers in High Gloss Black can be seen through the 20/21” Turbo S wheels in Satin Platinum with colored Porsche crested center caps and Pirelli P Zero tires. The seller adds that paint protection film covers the front end, and a full ceramic coating has been applied. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered with Black leather with Slate Grey stitching and checkered Sport-Tex seat centers. The 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus have been optioned with heating and ventilation. Appointments include Porsche-crested headrests, interior trim inlays in Black Brushed Aluminum, the Extended Dashboard and Door Panel Package in leather, instrument dials in Black, door-sill guards in Brushed Aluminum, sun visors in leather, a GT Sport steering wheel in leather, and a steering column casing in leather. Additional options include Lane Change Assist, Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, Surround View, Ambient Lighting, under-door puddle light projectors, and a fire extinguisher. Exclusive details include a Porsche Design Subsecond Clock within the Sport Chrono dial, Edition 50 designations along the dashboard and door sills, and a Ferdinand Porsche signature atop the center armrest.
Power is derived from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, generating 473 HP and 420 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels. This example was selected with a desirable 7-speed manual transmission, while standard performance features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), Sport Exhaust System, Power Steering, and the Sport Chrono Package. This example remains under the manufacturer’s warranty.
This sale will include a clean title and owner’s manuals.

The seller threw in the $12,050 watch. Bids should go up by at least that amount. The watch is a required option when ordering the car.

Amazing car nonetheless
Is the Timepiece included in the sale?..Thank you
Beautiful car, Seller. I could be mistaken, but you might want to check the listing regarding the “checkered Sport-Tex seat centers” because I think they were deleted when the original owner opted for “heating and ventilation.” GLWTA!
