Paying homage to Porsche’s iconic air-cooled era, the 911 Sport Classic is a limited-edition model based on the 992 Turbo, featuring rear-wheel drive, a 7-speed manual transmission, and a Heritage Design interior. It is further distinguished by a fixed ducktail rear spoiler, a lightweight carbon fiber hood, a double-bubble roof, and Fuchs-style wheels. One of just 1,250 examples worldwide, this 2023 example is finished in Sport Grey Metallic and offers the Exterior Accent Package in Silver, the Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, Lane Change Assist, Power Steering Plus, aluminum pedals and footrest, and much more. One of the rarest and most sought-after modern 911s, this Sport Classic is now being offered for auction out of Ohio with fewer than 700 miles on the odometer.
Sharing its bodywork with the Turbo, the 911 Sport Classic features wide rear fenders with closed-off intake ducts and omits active aerodynamic elements. Design details include an indented carbon fiber hood, a double-bubble roof, gold-colored lettering, and a ducktail rear spoiler inspired by the Carrera RS 2.7. Subtle heritage-inspired elements include a Porsche crest modeled after the 1963 design, gold badges and lettering, and Manufaktur badges on the front quarter panels. This example is finished in Sport Grey Metallic, an exclusive color for the Sport Classic and a modern interpretation of the Porsche 356’s Fashion Grey. It also presents silver “PORSCHE” side lettering, “21” numbered roundels, and over-the-top stripes as part of the Exterior Accent Package in Silver, along with Exclusive Design taillights. The car rides on Fuchs-style 20”/21” Turbo Exclusive Design alloy wheels. Full paint protection film has been applied.
Crafted by Exclusive Manufaktur, the special Heritage Design interior combines Black and Classic Cognac leather with Pepita cloth upholstery. Details include a headliner in perforated Race-Tex upholstery, retro-style gauges with green numbers, an Exclusive Manufaktur embossed center console lid, 911 Sport Classic door sill plates, a dashboard limitation plaque, and extended leather covering the steering column and air vent slats. Additional options include the Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, pedals and footrest in aluminum, Power Steering Plus, Lane Change Assist (LCA), a fire extinguisher, power-folding exterior mirrors, Ambient Lighting, and under-door puddle light projectors.
A twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six engine produces up to 543 HP and 442 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual transmission and a Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) limited-slip differential. Standard equipment includes Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Rear Axle Steering, the Sport Chrono Package, PASM Sport suspension, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), and a modified Sport Exhaust system. The balance of the original factory warranty remains in effect.
