The balance of the original factory warranty remains in effect.

The seller would like you to know: "Thank you for visiting my auction. Following my purchase of a GT3T, my dealer approached me about another highly allocated car, the Carrera T. It was a bit of an impulse buy and the car is absolutely fantastic. It is a GT3-lite! This car has been ordered with rear-wheel steering which makes the handling comparable to my GT3T. Overall, the car is fun and easy to drive and at this point, I'm just trying to find it a good home."

@Multimodal of course, typical porsche! I'll send them my regards because that is a little egregious!
@TUD17 Ah, got it. Makes sense.
@edgy4sure GT3-lite is how Porsche marketing materials have described the T since the 991.2. Seller isn't over-marketing there.
I don't get the GT3-lite compare, sorry, but that's a little misrepresented IMO that said, anything not a GT3 could be described as GT3-lite
this IS a great looking car (color) and I'm sure it will bring years of joy to someone, doesn't have much in options and certainly doesn't need FAL and I'm not sure any p-car needs sport chrono...again all my opinion GLWA
@Multimodal PTS (Paint To Sample) when available is $11,600.
@TILLMAN67 How did you come up with $11K over? That seems random and not supported by recent data points.
@TILLMAN67, Porsche is building far more than 500 992 T units for the U.S. market. Python Green was not later offered as a PTS color. General FYI, 992 PTS is sold out for MY24 per PCNA.
@billhigg @billhigg, Cool! I will ask my grandmother to buy me it and she can drive it once in a while! :-)
Joking aside, great car indeed and very tempting!
@perfect5storm and @davidcarson48 you both make great points. I am new to this auction but not to Porsches. What is unique about this car, besides only some 500 units allocated to the US market, is the launch color, Python Green. Not surprising Porsche discontinued it as a standard color and now offers only as Paint-to-Sample. IMHO this would make this car's value minimum some $11k over sticker price. It is a rare color indeed. And I might add, me and my boys said, "sick" when we saw it in Car and Driver! GLWTA.
@skalra Very soft, your grandmother could drive easily.
@billhigg @billhigg, great car and GLWA!
I have not driven a newer model 911 with a clutch in a long while. How's the clutch? Stiff? Is 7-speed a PITA (or PITKnee)?
@Multimodal PPF runs from mirror caps forward
I see the dealer applied XPEL paint protection. Is the entire car covered?
Bid in the amount of $107,000
@skalra owned free and clear
billhigg, does the title have a lien on it?
@davidcarson48 Ha, sure. But how much damage could have been done in 230 miles? This is a new car.
@benjh1028 what class?
@Multimodal Thank you for that. This is my first experience selling at auction, and naively, I thought it was all about the car.
@multimodal This is a Porsche. The old adage holds: you are buying the seller as much as the car. He redeemed himself so no harm and no foul in the end.
@perfect5storm Good point here. Python Green is NLA, making the 2023 the only model year Python Green was available. And it was the launch color!
Great spec. And no need to flame the seller just because he doesn’t know every little detail of what appears to be his second Porsche and fifth car. Just bid if you like what you see.
Bid in the amount of $106,000
Tempted. I was close to pulling the trigger on a similar build. Had been playing with it for months when one night in the spring the prices jumped while i was on the Build your own. The Python Green went from something $3200 to paint to sample over 11k. Base price went up 6k. My build jumped from 128 to over 150. Bit steep considering what's available at that price. You got yours before the in ear price increase. A relative bargain I guess. Good luck.
@billhigg Fellow CE from GT…. Tough spot as I’m liking the green better than my chosen color! Need to slow my brain down!
THWG!
@benjh1028 BTW, the reserve was just lifted on my car

I am encouraged by the sale of the no-reserve Carrera T yesterday and I have just lifted the reserve on mine. May the highest bidder win!

My apologies to every one on this thread.
Yes, I am dead wrong...I was describing my GT3T interior, not the Carrera T. The T has leather, with heat and ventilation. I should not have trusted my memory. Not an excuse, but I have owned the GT car for a year and a half, so it is more memorable.
Yes, I have been distracted, having been on the road with little connectivity. I will be able to answer questions and concerns more promptly.
Again, my apologies.
@RICKMOUNTAIN The gearing is identical to all other 992 Carrera manuals. Also, the seller is dead wrong. This car has heated and ventilated front seats with full leather and NO Sport-Tex.
@billhigg Sus - clearly a misunderstanding on your part about what sport-tex is and how it might be special. As @Al_Cantara might suggest, could 230 miles show you weren't committed to this enough to understand what you ordered and bought? Clearly other priorities and plans.
For potential buyers, per the window sticker and photos included, this car has ventilated seats. Sport-tex is removed and replaced with leather when ventilated is optioned. The references to sport-tex have been removed from the auction descriptions.
@billhigg I am very confused. The interior video you uploaded quite clearly shows this car has leather seats that are both heated and ventilated. Is the car in the video not your actual car? Hard to believe you don’t know this about a car you own.
Nice Build, smart options
I have just uploaded the build sheet. It depicts ventilated seats, but as previously described, the Sport-Tex seats are heated, not ventilated.

Bid in the amount of $65,000
@billhigg but the seats are most definitely ventilated and do no have the Sport-Tex centers because of this.
Bid in the amount of $51,234
@RickMountain I have not driven a recent Carrera S, but had a 2015 Carrera 4S, and it certainly was different than the T. Just an opinion, but this is a very responsive shifter and a really light clutch, and it is a hoot to drive.
Bid in the amount of $500
I’ve not driven the T but is the manual gearing on this set up differently than on the regular 2023 Carrera S? I ask b/c I found the Carrera S manual so incredibly boring - the gears were so long that you really only needed 1, 2 and 3 - and that was including highway driving… I am hoping the gearing on the T might be shorter and more aggressive so you actually have to use most of them (admittedly I also have manuals on my 996 and G series so I’m a fan of the more visceral involvement - not a ho hum manual). Anyone got some info on this?
@Al_Cantara Was never intended to be a permanent member of the fleet, and my wife wants her parking space back.
@badonk That was a proofreading error on my part. I will have the host correct. It should have read heated seats, not ventilated seats. And the Sport-tex can be confirmed from the build sheet. Thank you for your note.
Sport-tex was standard on the T. But when optioned with ventilated seats, sport-tex is removed and replaced with leather. The description and seller are wrong. This car does not have Sport-tex on the seats. Not sure why the seller commented on having Sport-tex. Seller please correct your vehicle description.
Why sell after 230 miles?
@billhigg - nice snag. Ordered my 2024 allocation (delivered 40 days ago) in Python and Porsche "cancelled" it as an option. So swapped to Neo Rubystar.
I went with Python because it was the launch color. Honestly, I was a little uncertain(my last four Porsches were black/sliver/white), but fell in love when I saw the car on the dealers floor.
THWG!
Waiting on my allocation. Now wishing I had gone with a bolder color.
Good luck with the sale and Go Jackets!
Sport-Tex seat inserts were standard on The Carrera T. One more example of familial resemble to the GT3.
When ventilated seats are ordered, you lose the fabric. I think the fabric makes the car the unique derivative it is.
Bid in the amount of $250
Does not appear to the sport tec seats. Please confirm
