The fastest production Cayman ever produced by Porsche, the 718 GT4 RS features lightweight construction, increased downforce, enhanced engine power, optimized handling, and a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine. This 2023 example is finished in Arctic Grey over Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery with Deep Blue stitching. It was further configured with the Weissach Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, Front Axle Lift System, Chrono Package, BOSE Surround Sound System, and more. Acquired by the seller and second owner from Porsche Downtown Chicago at about 400 miles, this GT4 RS is now being offered for auction out of Illinois with approximately 1,200 miles showing on the odometer.
This example is finished in the model’s debut color of Arctic Grey and features the Weissach Package, an additional cost exceeding $13. The package adds an exposed carbon fiber front trunk lid, side air intakes and combustion air blades, exterior mirrors, and trim along the swan neck rear wing, as well as Porsche lettering in Dark Silver atop the rear windshield and 935-style Titanium tailpipes. Additional options include yellow ceramic brake calipers, the Front Axle Lift System, and auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor. Front-end paint protection film is applied, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery with Deep Blue stitching. The optional Weissach Package adds an exposed carbon fiber airbox with a silver model logo, upper dashboard upholstery in Race-Tex, and Weissach Package logos on the dashboard trim and headrests. Options also include Deep Sea Blue seatbelts, the Chrono Package, the Light Design Package, preparation for a Porsche Dashcam (front), a fire extinguisher, a black leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear selector, and smartphone compartment, Voice Control, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell.
Derived from the 911 GT3, the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine revs up to 9,000 rpm and delivers a factory-rated 493 HP and 331 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a short-ratio 7-speed PDK transmission. Standard equipment includes PASM Sport Suspension, Launch Control, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) with a mechanically locking differential. Superior stopping power is offered by optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).
This sale will include a clean title (lien) and the owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “This 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is in pristine condition and completely stock. Always garage-kept and meticulously maintained, with only 1,240 miles—mostly easy drives to Cars & Coffee. I’m selling because we recently welcomed a baby, and unfortunately, the GT4 RS isn’t car-seat friendly. I’ve absolutely loved this car, and I hope the next owner gets to enjoy it even more. If you’re looking for one of the most engaging Porsche driving experiences ever built—perfect for both track days and spirited weekend drives—this GT4 RS represents an exceptional opportunity.”

@Cvhuebner 42K
@DentalPorscheGuy what is a “small lien”
Bid in the amount of $175,000
Bid in the amount of $173,000
@Cvhuebner The small lien is with Porsche via Porsche Financial. I’m happy to do whatever the buyer would like if they would like to make the payoff directly to Porsche and let them send them the title and give the difference to me they can or I can make the payoff myself
Is there a lien on the title? If there is, how will pay it off?
@Cvhuebner Yes, the car was broken in as Porsche recommends. I followed the factory guidelines during the break-in period, keeping RPMs below 4,000 and avoiding aggressive driving until the recommended mileage was reached. The car has been meticulously cared for and driven responsibly since purchased.
Was this car broken in properly?
@Cvhuebner Hello, It was only driven for the occasional cruise around the suburbs of Chicago and some drives to cars & coffee. I tried my best to keep revs low until 1,000 mile break in, however it was hard since the car loves to rev high.
Feel free to ask me any other questions :)
Did you ever track the car?
@Oslermarine An excellent assessment. If you don’t have a flat six naturally aspirated Cayman now and you want an investment that will appreciate like gold has appreciated in the past few years, buy as many as you can afford. Can’t think of a better more fun investment. Porsche has shot themselves in their foot, but there’s no reason we can’t benefit from it.
Porsche has stated that EU emissions regulations have gotten so strict that the naturally aspirated flat six can no longer meet them. They would have to build the engine for select markets where present day emissions would allow sales, but it’s essentially cost prohibitive. From present day forward all Porsche engines will be turbo charged. Give your naturally aspirated flat six lots of love and it will love you back in the future with a handsome selling price. Today’s prices will seem like a bargain in just a few years.
@550Spyderman if no further naturally aspirated GT4RS models in future then these will be like 997 gt3 values in 10 years
@911t yes, everything is original. The only “modification” is a front end PPF, installed by the Porsche dealership in Chicago.
is the paint all original?
2023 GT4 Base Price $149k. 2024 Base $160k. Same configuration in ‘24 11k higher. Higher yet in ‘’25. Now out of production. Let the appreciation begin and take a guess at the 2030-2035 valves.

Bid in the amount of $170,718
@993David Yeah! let me contact the team at P car to help me upload it.
Yes, I believe it is a CPO. I don't know for certain. I can call the dealer tomorrow and ask for you.
@911t No need, theres only a small amount on the lien. I could pay off if needed.
@993David Carfax shows CPO 10/23
@DentalPorscheGuy thanks, could you please post it? I did not see it in the photos. Also, since you bought it from the Porsche dealer is it a CPO?
@dentalporscheguy if i’m reading correctly there’s a lien on the title currently? would you need to use the buyer’s funds to pay off the loan first before doing a title transfer?
@993David Yes, I have the build sheet from the Porsche dealer.
@alevine The manager informed me that the PPF was done at Porsche Downtown Chicago before I purchased the vehicle. I purchased the car from them with 400 miles on it.
@alevine the car has always been serviced at Porsche Downtown Chicago. All records are in their system. I can definitely request them from the dealer.
