Inspired by the classic Moke driven by James Bond in the movie “Live and Let Die (1973)” on his visit to the fictional Caribbean island of San Monique, this limited-edition electric Moke is complete with tributary artwork. Stored inside a climate-controlled facility, this 2023 Moke 007 San Monique Edition Moke is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing under 50 miles on the odometer.
Each San Monique Edition comes finished in white with a blue and white striped Bimini-style soft top and rides on white-finished wheels. Equipment includes paint-matched front and rear bumpers, dual exterior mirrors, hood latches, “San Monique Edition” lettering & artwork, a rear-mounted spare tire, and mudflaps. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is appointed with black polyurethane seats, a wood-trimmed “007”-branded steering wheel, a wooden shift knob, a white-finished dashboard, and San Monique artwork. Equipment includes a stereo, a sound system, and rubber “Moke” branded entrance & floor mats.
For the United States market, the Moke has been reborn as a battery-powered low-speed vehicle (LSV). It is powered by a 12-kWh electric motor generating 20 HP and 70 lb.-ft of torque sent to the front wheels allowing for a top speed of 25 MPH. The 1-speed direct-drive transmission is connected to a shifter with forward, neutral, and reverse positions.
This Moke will be sold with a bill of sale.
