Presented at the 2017 24 Hours of Spa, the Mercedes-AMG GT4 is a track-only customer racing car based on the powerful Mercedes-AMG GT R Coupe road car. It features a twin-turbocharged V8 engine along with an AMG 6-speed racing gearbox, race-optimized brakes and suspension, lightweight aerodynamic bodywork, and a racing cockpit with a full complement of safety equipment. This 2023 example comes finished in silver with a Petronas-style livery and was optioned with a passenger seat along with an extra set of rims at an additional cost of $18k. The owner states the car has never been raced competitively and was used for only two days at the track for high-performance driver education (HPDE) events at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This Mercedes-AMG customer race car is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Florida.
The bodywork of the GT4 was adapted from the Mercedes-AMG GT R and optimized with additional wind tunnel development. The car features a flat front section with a slanted grille and a front bumper made of natural fiber-reinforced material along with a wide front splitter, lateral flics, and a gurney flap on the bonnet. The large rear wing is adjustable to optimize downforce and drag. The car includes an extra set of wheels along with a set of new medium and soft compound Pirelli racing slicks. The seller adds a protective front plastic wrap was installed along with the exterior livery in Germany before the car was imported.
The lightweight, ergonomic racing cockpit is fitted with a pair of carbon fiber seats mounted directly to the aluminum space frame and its steel roll cage. Accessories include a Digital Display Unit instrument panel, a quick-release racing steering wheel with shift paddles, adjustable racing pedals, and an air-conditioning vent for the driver. Safety features include a carbon fiber driver safety cell, individual seat foaming and integrated headrests, a recovery hatch in the roof, and a high-performance fire suppression system.
The Mercedes-AMG GT4 is powered by an M178 4.0-liter V8 engine featuring two BorgWarner turbochargers positioned between the cylinder heads in a “hot-V” configuration. Over 500 HP and 443 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of a pneumatically operated sequential AMG 6-speed competition gearbox with a mechanical self-locking differential and magnesium casing. The suspension consists of aluminum double wishbones front and rear, adjustable shock absorbers, and reinforced track rods. Stopping power comes from a competition AP Racing brake system with adjustable ABS, self-ventilating composite brake discs, and carbon fiber air ducts. The car offers 10 variable performance tunes from the factory which can be programmed via a computer using a special cable that is included in the sale.
This track-only race car is accompanied by a bill of sale along with extra sets of tires and a computer tuning cable.

Yes, a/c is factory installed, only directs flow to driver, but only turns on automatically after car is doing 40 mph
thanks
Does the car have AC installed?
Good day, thanks again for all the bids. Not to much else to say about this machine. Happy belated fourth.

Have 8 new tires that I ordered back "then" Pirelli medium compound. Got them for 350 each plus 40 for transport (390). They will be for sale at same price for the buyer only if the car goes. Thanks.
Thanks for the bids, unique machine. People that know, knows how hard is to find a basically new one.

Hi
Everything regarding HP, locking diff etc, can be done. Not sure about suspension. The different settings are for different racing categories, you can go down or up depending on which group you will race the car, I am not familiar with each class as I only do HPDE. When we did the first HPDE had IMSA mode, I believe was 440 HP, not sure about torque, currently on "Party mode" with over 500 HP. I am a human mechanic , Jose Osiris Pena is the one managing the tune/computer, he's a professional driver and expert in cars, my "adopted stepson". I'll find out more the way to adjust suspension and post it. Thanks.
For anyone that might be confused by my bid amount. The 3 digits 674 translate numerically to "GT4"! @gdynet11 do you have any info you could share on the 10 available performance settings on how they affect the HP, TQ and suspension settings?
Good morning, thanks for the Bid

No damage at all, brand new, basically, not even a scratch. No repairs of any kind.
Thanks
I also had a GT R which i only used for the track, with a tune, besides the safety issues (2018) self braking, rising windows was super fast and easy to drive, this one is a different animal, lighter by much and … full racing car.
Neck is either surgery if weakness happens on the arm, pain does not qualify, i will have to decide down the road.
Thanks
Has the car had any damage repair?
This would be an amazing track toy. Having driven a "street" GT-R on track, I can just imagine how fast and raw this car must be. Get well soon!
Hi
Selling Susan (Su-santisimo) due to medical condition, (cervical spine injury), will not be able to have fun for a while. Literally new.
Thanks.
