Available for auction is this 2023 Honda Civic FL5 Type R finished in Championship White over a Red and Black suede-effect interior. Based upon the eleventh-generation Honda Civic, the sixth-generation Type R was introduced in 2022 featuring updated styling and a revised version of the turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine found in its predecessor. This 2023 example was delivered in December of 2022 and features 19″ wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, an onboard data logger, aerodynamic bodywork, a rear wing, carbon-fiber trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, and much more. Accompanied by the remainder of its factory warranty, this Type R is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Missouri, while showing approximately 50 miles on its odometer.
This sixth-generation Type R features widened bodywork, a hood scoop, and a rear spoiler. This example is finished in Championship White and includes LED brake lights and daytime running lights, a black grill and trim, red Honda badging, and a stainless steel triple-outlet exhaust. It rides on a set of black finished 19” wheels which come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
The cabin features front sport seats upholstered in red suede-effect fabric with matching carpets, seatbelts, and stitching. The rear seat is upholstered in black cloth and the dashboard, door panels, and center console are adorned with metal-look trim. Amenities include a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a 9” touch-screen infotainment system with navigation, an aluminum shift knob, dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button ignition, cruise control, rubber floor mats, and more.
Power comes from a turbocharged 2.0L inline-four cylinder engine with VTEC variable valve timing, which produces up to 315 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque. The sixth generation Type R is the most powerful factory-produced Civic ever and set the front-wheel-drive lap record at Suzuka with a time of 2:23.120. The wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Type R uses four-wheel disc brakes with Brembo calipers up front, and features a dual-axis strut front suspension which helps to mitigate torque steer. This Type R will be accompanied by the remainder of its 3-year, 36k mile basic and 5-year, 60k mile powertrain warranties.
This sale will include the owner’s literature, a widow sticker, and a clean title.

Is this being offered by a Honda Dealer? Or another dealer? Would be good if it was a private seller.
Can confirm, my sales guy just told me the ADM that most dealers charge is 15K but is usually negotiated down to 10K.
Bid in the amount of $47,777
The ADM is generally 10-25k on these from dealers.
Anyone know what market adjustment Honda dealers are adding to these?

@wanna123 I’ve had several Civic R’s. Never had any issues.
Are there any warranty issues like with GM?

The window sticker has been downloaded and should appear shortly, I believe. The “break in” period per Honda is no sudden or prolonged acceleration for 600 miles… it’s only been driven to my storage hanger and certainly operated within the guidelines.
Pic of original window sticker? Recommended break in procedure followed in those 50 miles?
