Part of the limited “Last Call” series, the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 gained the title of the fastest accelerating production car in the world. Powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 delivering over 1,000 HP on E85 (170-proof ethanol), this model is based on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. Its Demon 170 package adds $20,465 to the base price, including Brembo 4-piston brakes, a 240mm rear axle, a Transbrake, an Air-Grabber hood, an SRT performance spoiler, and carbon fiber interior accents. Finished in Plum Crazy over a Black Alcantara and Laguna leather interior, this example is one of only 3,300 units planned for production. Additional features include carbon fiber two-piece wheels, a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, and the Premium Group. With only 27 miles on the odometer, this iconic Challenger is now available for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.
Presenting a distinctive wide-body configuration, the SRT Demon 170 comes standard with an Air-Grabber hood, an SRT performance spoiler, a satin black Dodge tail lamp badge, SRT Demon 170 exterior badges, and black Brembo brake calipers with yellow logos. This example is finished in Plum Crazy and features carbon fiber 2-piece wheels measuring 18”x8” in front and 17”x11” in the rear. It rides on Mickey Thompson tires from 2023 in like-new condition. Additional details include a dual scoop hood with a “Last Call” underhood plaque and factory yellow protection guards on the front splitter corners. Inside, the driver is situated within a Black interior with Alcantara and Laguna leather upholstery, complemented by optional Demonic Red seatbelts. The Demon 170 package adds genuine carbon fiber trim, an Alcantara steering wheel, and an SRT Demon 170 instrument panel badge. The optional Premium Equipment Group further enhances the interior with ventilated Alcantara/Laguna leather seats, suede door trim panels and headliner, a premium stitched dash, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a trunk-mounted subwoofer, power tilt/telescoping steering column, blind spot and rear cross-path detection, automatic high-beam control, rain-sensing wipers, and power multifunction mirrors with manual fold-away. The TorqueFlite automatic transmission includes steering-wheel-mounted shift controls, a leather-wrapped shift knob, remote start, and Tip Start.
Beneath the hood lies a 6.2-liter D170 V8 engine featuring a 3.0-liter supercharger, a conical cold air intake, active exhaust, an after-run chiller, and an SRT Power Chiller. The SRT Demon 170’s engine is distinguished by a special yellow-painted engine block and a “Last Call” plaque under the hood. It produces up to 1,025 HP and 945 lb.-ft of torque using an E85 170-proof ethanol fuel mixture and up to 900 HP and 810 lb.-ft of torque with standard 91-octane pump gas. The rear wheels are driven through an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, a Demon-specific driveshaft, and an anti-slip 240mm rear axle with a 3.09 gear ratio. Featuring drag racing technology, including Launch Control with Launch Assist, Transbrake 2.0, and Line Lock, the Demon 170 accelerates from 0-60 MPH in 1.66 seconds. This Challenger is also equipped with 4-piston Brembo brakes, a performance shift indicator, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability, control, all-speed traction control, SRT configurable drive modes, and specialized drag suspension. The balance of the manufacturer's original warranty remains in effect.
