Part of the “Last Call” limited-edition series, the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 debuted in 2023 as the fastest accelerating production car in the world featuring a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that produces over 1,000 HP when fed with E85, a 170-proof ethanol fuel mixture. Based on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody, the Demon 170 package commands an additional $20,465 on the window sticker including Brembo 4-piston brakes, a 240mm rear axle, a Transbrake, an Air-Grabber hood, an SRT performance spoiler, and carbon fiber interior accents. This example is one of a 3,300-unit planned production run and comes finished in Destroyer Gray over a Black interior. It is further equipped with desirable carbon fiber two-piece wheels, a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, 170 Satin Black graphics, the Premium Group, and more. Showing just over 400 miles on the odometer, this sought-after Challenger is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Missouri.
The wide-bodied SRT Demon 170 comes standard with an Air-Grabber hood, an SRT performance spoiler, a satin black Dodge tail lamp badge, SRT Demon 170 exterior badges, and black Brembo brake calipers with yellow logos. This example is finished in Destroyer Gray decorated with optional satin black hood, roof, and decklid graphics. A set of carbon fiber 2-piece wheels was also opted for, measuring 18”x8” in front and 17”x11” in the rear. It rides on like-new Mickey Thompson tires with 2023 date codes. The car also features a dual scoop hood with a “Last Call” underhood plaque. Factory yellow protection guards remain affixed to the corners of the front splitter. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents a Black interior featuring Alcantara and Laguna leather upholstery, along with optional Demonic Red seatbelts. The Demon 170 package introduces genuine carbon fiber trim pieces, an Alcantara steering wheel, and an SRT Demon 170 instrument panel badge. Additionally, the optional Premium Equipment Group enhances the interior with ventilated 170 Alcantara / Laguna leather seats, suede door trim panel and headliner, a premium stitched dash panel, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a trunk-mounted subwoofer, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, blind spot and rear cross-path detection, automatic high-beam headlamp control, rain-sensitive windshield wipers, and power multifunction mirrors with manual fold-away. Uconnect 4C NAV with an 8.4” touchscreen display was also opted for.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter D170 V8 engine featuring a 3.0-liter supercharger, a conical cold air intake, active exhaust, an after-run chiller, and an SRT Power Chiller. The SRT Demon 170’s engine is distinguished by a special yellow-painted engine block and a “Last Call” plaque mounted under the hood. It produces up to 1,025 HP and 945 lb.-ft of torque using an E85 170-proof ethanol fuel mixture and up to 900 HP and 810 lb.-ft of torque with standard 91-octane pump gas. The rear wheels are driven through an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, a Demon-specific driveshaft, and an anti-slip 240mm rear axle with a 3.09 gear ratio. Featuring drag racing technology including Launch Control with Launch Assist, Transbrake 2.0, and Line Lock, the Demon 170 accelerates from 0-60 MPH in 1.66 seconds. This Challenger is also equipped with 4-piston Brembo brakes, a performance shift indicator, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability, control, all-speed traction control, SRT configurable drive modes, and specialized drag suspension. The balance of the manufacturer's original warranty remains in effect.
