Celebrating the final year of the Dodge Challenger, the limited-edition SRT Demon 170 was unveiled in 2023 as the fastest accelerating production car in the world featuring a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that produces over 1,000 HP. The Demon 170 is based on the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody and commands an additional $20,465 on the window sticker with upgraded Brembo 4-piston brakes, a 240mm rear axle, a Transbrake, an Air-Grabber hood, an SRT performance spoiler, forged aluminum wheels, and carbon fiber interior accents. Representing one of 3,300 examples planned for production, this SRT Demon 170 comes finished in B5 Blue over a Demonic Red leather and Alcantara interior. This sought-after Challenger is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas while showing just 35 miles on the odometer.
The wide-bodied SRT Demon 170 comes standard with an Air-Grabber hood, an SRT performance spoiler, a satin black Dodge tail lamp badge, SRT Demon 170 exterior badges, and black Brembo brake calipers with yellow logos. This example is finished in B5 Blue and decorated with optional satin black hood, roof, and decklid graphics. It rides on forged aluminum wheels measuring 18”x8” in front and 17”x11” in the rear which come factory-mounted with Mickey Thompson drag radial tires. The seller adds that the car remains in as-new condition. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black and Demonic Red interior is appointed with Alcantara and Laguna leather upholstery as well as optional Demonic Red seatbelts. It comes without rear seats for weight savings and features genuine carbon fiber trim as part of the Demon 170 Package as well as an Alcantara steering wheel and SRT Demon 170 instrument panel badge. Other equipment includes a ParkView rear backup camera, ParkSense rear park-assist system, a leather-wrapped shift knob, a remote start system, automatic climate control, and a Uconnect infotainment system with navigation and Sirius XM satellite radio.
Power comes from a 6.2-liter D170 V8 engine featuring a 3.0-liter supercharger, a conical cold air intake, active exhaust, an after-run chiller, and an SRT Power Chiller. The SRT Demon 170’s engine is distinguished by a special yellow-painted engine block and a “Last Call” plaque mounted under the hood. It produces up to 1,025 HP and 945 lb.-ft of torque using an E85 170-proof ethanol fuel mixture and up to 900 HP and 810 lb.-ft of torque with standard 91-octane pump gas. The rear wheels are driven through an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, a Demon-specific driveshaft, and an anti-slip 240mm rear axle with a 3.09 gear ratio. Featuring drag racing technology including Launch Control with Launch Assist, Transbrake 2.0, and Line Lock, the Demon 170 accelerates from 0-60 MPH in 1.66 seconds. This Challenger is also equipped with 4-piston Brembo brakes, a performance shift indicator, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability, control, all-speed traction control, SRT configurable drive modes, and specialized drag suspension. The balance of the manufacturer's original warranty remains in effect.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a clean title (in transit).
