Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 3 seconds with a manufacturer's-claimed top speed of 199 MPH. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). The seller notes the car remains in its initial break-in period and is covered under a factory warranty until 2026.

This sale will include the original owner’s manuals and accessories, two keys, and a clean title.

So the days of paying dealer over sticker, then selling over that for a profit are gone.

@yeezus amazing spot and beautiful drive, unfortunately haven’t been able to wind it up and most likely won’t! Haven’t made it past break in.

The Chief! As a west coast climber I instantly recognized those cliffs. Would love to drive this GT3 up the Sea-to-Sky Highway through Squamish. GLWS!

@AutoCar13 Thanks! I think Oak Green is the best of the greens, and metallic is great in different light. Re title. Fairly straight forward from my past experience. A bill of sale is drawn up with payout amount provided in a letter from Porsche. Wire transfer to Porsche pays out the loan, Porsche provides a lien release, remainder is wired to my account, and car is shipped. Similar to what I've done previously without issue.

How does payoff of lien work and transfer of title to new owner? Oak Green Metallic is quite the stunner...

@ftsuru hope the post helps, there is a 2.5% duty but that's really the most expensive part, still beat's state sales tax from a dealership. Good luck.
@Steelwool it depends where the price goes but, $12,000 seems like an upper limit, $10,000 probably closer to the actual number, IMO.

@Gbelmonti thank you! I hope you enjoyed my GT3, that was one of my favourite cars ever and it couldn’t have found a better home! So many memories in that car starting with Stuttgart pickup.

Hello-I'm the buyer of the 2018 GT3. COSDEL did a great job, easy, just a few forms. On the rear engine lid there's a sticker with VIN which indicates the vehicle meets all DOT emissions. There's no difference in North America, all cars meet USDOT. Switching from KM to Miles is simple, a toggle from the steering wheel controls. Illinois DMV was able to title the car in one visit, collect taxes which were $1700, private seller. The clerk calculated what taxes would've been, $17,500 from a dealer. All costs, fee's considered it was less than a dealer transaction with taxes and, a titled US vehicle. Don't let the import process deter you, it's a simple process with the right broker's. Hope this helps all bidding.

You have to pay a 2.5% import duty as well as the other fees from the agent and transport. Probably something like $12K all in for a car like this. Beauty by the way

Hi Frank, I followed up with the gentleman who imported my 2018 GT3 to the US and received further detail. Entire process took about 3 weeks and cost $8k in May 2021. The company he used was COSDEL who specialize in import/export of collector cars. They picked it up from my place in a special enclosed car carrier, moved it across the border for customs verification, and then transport again in a covered car carrier to the final destination. I had to provide a letter I received from Porsche confirming it met all US EPA and safety regulations, which these cars all meet. Fairly simple process especially with the agent. Wouldn't want to go it alone. Hope that helps!

Hi Frank, thanks for your interest!
As I said below, I sold my 2018 GT3 to a person who used an agent who handled everything from pickup, transport, inspection and importation. I believe it cost around $5k and was complete in 2-3 weeks. These new speedos are all digital so that’s a simple change in units (my 2018 had to have the speedo changed I believe).

I’ll see if I can get further info and provide an update.

    Thanks

What needs to be done to bring a late model car into the United States from Canada? I understand it is pretty simple to import cars from Canada to the US when the car is older than 25 years. The newer cars are not as straight forward. Would like to know what we need to do for a 2022 model.
    Thanks,
    Frank

In my opinion the front end looks better with the unpainted scoop, like the winged versions of the GT3. So I changed it out but still have the original green, which you see in the photo.

Re green….the Oak Green has a bit of a brown (oak) tinge to it, which is fantastic. It takes on different looks in different light. A bit more interesting, softer and not quite so green.

  • kstoff125 (registered bidder) 1 year, 6 monthsago

What is the picture of the additional front bumper cover? Is that an additional piece or showing it was repainted? Thanks.

Also, any insights on how this green compares to British Racing Green or Irish Green?

  • joel (seller) 1 year, 6 monthsago

    Yes we will post it.

Hey everyone, bittersweet listing this beauty but personal family circumstances come first. I previously owned a 2018 GT3 Touring and can't say enough about these cars, in my opinion, the best there are. Unfortunately I haven't even made it through the break-in, so didn't have the opportunity to take it up to redline, that will be for one of you lucky bidders. Note the car is in Vancouver, never seen winter (or potholes). I believe the person that purchased my 2018 GT3 shipped it to the US and cleared customs for USD 5,000, back in 2021. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions or would like any further pictures.
