This 2022 Porsche 992 GT3 was ordered in Lava Orange over a Black leather and Race-Tex interior featuring body-colored stitching throughout. The car was also optioned with a carbon fiber roof panel, ceramic brakes (PCCB), Front Axle Lift System, a PDK transmission, the Extended Leather Package, Full Bucket Seats, Satin Black wheels, the Chrono Package, BOSE Surround Sound System, and much more. The seller notes that some water had entered the original owner's garage during a storm and caused minor dampening of the carpet which necessitated the replacement and reprogramming of the Body Control and PDK modules as well as the Bose amplifier by Certified Porsche of Fort Myers. The car is now fully functional according to Porsche of Fort Myers and the DMV of the state of Florida The car is now being offered with a rebuilt title. Showing less than 4k miles on the odometer, this GT3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This GT3 is finished in the striking color of Lava Orange and features an exposed carbon fiber roof panel, upper mirror housings in carbon fiber, Exclusive Design taillights, and LED-Matrix Design headlights in Black. The 20”/21” GT3 center-lock wheels are finished in Satin Black and complemented by yellow-painted ceramic brakes. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.
The cabin is finished in Black leather and Race-Tex upholstery with trim inlays and door sill guards in high-gloss carbon fiber as well as the optional Deviated Stitching Package in Lava Orange. Optional extended leather upholstery also covers the dashboard, door panels, steering column casing, sun visors, inner door sill guards, fuse box cover, and rearview mirror panel. Other options include a central tachometer and Sport Chrono stopwatch dial in White, seatbelts in Silver Grey, Full Bucket Seats, the Front Axle Lift System, Bose Surround Sound System, an extended range fuel tank, the Storage Package, Ambient Lighting, and under-door puddle light projectors. All accessories and electronics are now fully functional according to the seller.
The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine features six individual throttle bodies and revs up to 9k-RPM while producing as much as 502 HP and 346 lb.-ft of torque. Paired with the 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in less than 3 seconds. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). Due to the aforementioned flood damage, the seller replaced the battery, spark plugs, and engine oil. The engine was also checked for persisting water, and none was found. The seller adds that the car is in proper running order and there are no outstanding maintenance items.
This sale will include some documentation and a salvage/rebuilt title.

Car condition is like brand new, no odor, drives like a banshee. I was down in Florida last week to check on the repairs and rebuild status. I was there when we got the title upgraded from a salvage to a rebuild. The inspectors couldn't believe that it was labeled as "water damage". For the price, you will be getting an absolute steal of a deal.
Attention, destructive comments will be removed, please be tactful.

@rstomp I stand by what I have Repeatedly stated, there was only enough water to get the carpet wet. Look at the interior photos. Does the interior look like it suffered water damage? Does the Car Fax say the the interior was replaced? Does the Car Fax and repair paperwork from Porsche Fort Myers state there were major electrical problems caused by water damage? NO.

Hi, I had water damage to my car and I could never get the smell to come out. It smelled like mildew. Does this car have any odor in it?

@edgy4sure I am a private seller, the car was repaired by Porsche Fort Myers
@genebayer thank you for your transparency, am I correct that you are not Ft Myers Porsche, selling this vehicle?
Porsche GT cars are simply the best thing I've ever driven and/or owned - and Lava Orange is an incredible color. GLWA
@edgy4sure Hey I wouldn't consider it a victim because it survived to drive again!! The car was never submerged in water but did have enough water to get only the carpet wet. The car is all original and required only minor repairs to get it in operating condition.

@seller, do you still plan to post a cold start and driving video?
Bid in the amount of $66,000
@PAEuros good find. 33-40% up the door. Looks like copart dumped it in the gravel based on the gravel on the spoiler. No way to treat a lady!
Seller, you present a beautiful car with a not so beautiful history. Don’t you think a start-up video and some undercarriage photos might be a good response to some of the concerns expressed here?
@rstomp Hi Rstomp. You have to add a 15% buyers premium to the sales price. I can’t speak for the insurance company who considered the car a total loss hence the salvage title. There were two other cars in the original owners garage along with the GT3. The insurance company never had the car inspected to see what was wrong they just considered flood damage because there was water in the garage. Again the interior of the car was not flooded and no major engine damage was discovered Check the car fax and the repair invoices they show what was needed to get the car in operating condition. When I say certified it means the repairs were made by a certified Porsche dealer and that certified new Porsche parts were used. Porsche Fort Myer states that the car is now operating as it should. The car lost the warranty because it had a salvage title and it now has a rebuilt title.
This car sold at another auction in Nov, 2022 for $128K. In my experience with Porsche, they would not have voided the warranty if just the carpets got wet. Perhaps seller can advise what Porsche of Ft Myers has certified? I suspect they certified that the car is in running condition.
@RacingPorsche according to the invoice on picture 87, there was water in the engine bay as it is stated that they had to clean up the secondary air injection connections due to water and they also checked the ports in the cylinder head due to being dirty. If you google the VIN on this car you can see the water line marks in the salvage auction photos.
How can this car be certified from Porsche with a salvage/rebuilt title?
Is there a video start up of gt3 you can post?
@RacingPorsche hey racing Porsche no water in the engine certified by Porsche of Fort Myers
Photo #93 states "water in engine". Can you tell me exactly what investigation was done to ensure no water intrusion damage was done to the engine?
@ricm Hi there is no corrosion, unfortunately I do not have any photos of the under carriage
Carpets were only cleaned and along with the padding not replaced? Is that visible rust on the seat rails and corrosion on the wheel hub and PCCB bolts? Any detailed photos of the under carriage, suspension and engine area?
@420Time I think I can get the video Monday I am in Chicago now
@Mancave2021cars yes ask for Marty flaska

@Mancave2021cars Hey Mancave 2021cars I am currently in Chicago but can make arrangements to have someone there to let you inspect the car. Please provide the day and time you wish to come and I will try to make that happen. The car is in Naples
I live nearby and would like to see the car.
How do we arrange this?
@Rod27 Hi Rod. Ian did hit in September. In the case of this car the water rose and fell in about two hrs as I was told. The car was in a yard until November when I bought it. Again, the interior was not flooded the carpet only got wet. One can see that the repairs were minimal to get it in operating condition. You seem interested in the car. I encourage you to come check out the car and see for yourself that the car is fully functional with no issues. The car was inspected by the Florida DMV and was issued a rebuild title. If it had problems, it would not have passed inspection.
@cjspeake Hi sorry to hear about your loss. When I bought the car it was inoperable that is why it was considered a loss. Luckily the only components that got wet were the Body Control and PDK modules. Once those were replaced and reprogramed the car fired right up. It was certified by Porsche of Fort Myers and the Florida DMV. Anyone seriously interested in the car should come to Naples, FL and inspect it for yourself and see how magnificent it really is. Again I want to tell everyone interested int he car it was not submerged in water, that makes a HUGE difference.
This should be interesting. I lost my 991.1 GT3 to Ian. I was considering buying back after insurance totaled it. I consulted with some pretty knowledgeable Porsche people and was told that in addition to all the wiring and electronics, I would likely need a new engine and transmission as well. The water in my garage was higher than the bottom of the doors though so maybe this case is different.
@Steelwool Hey Steelwool thank you for your interest. I do not understand why the title says not actual mileage that was the milage when the rebuilt title was issued The car currently has 3945 see photo of the odometer. No the original warranty is not valid
Why does the salvage title say, “not actual mileage”? Also, is the original warranty still valid?
can you elaborate on the repair timeline? Ian hit on september 30th......carfax shows repairs in november. The saltwater was in it for a month or so?
Bid in the amount of $992
@PAEuros A combination of rain and sea
If water got high enough to go inside the bottom of the door, I would consider that to be flooded. Was it salt water or fresh?
@PAEuros Hi PAEEuros. I appreciate your question. I would like to make it clear to all interested in this beautiful car. It was not flooded or submerged in water. The water was only as high as the bottom of the door and the carpet got wet. The interior is all original. As explained in the write up, all that was needed to get the car running was to replace the Body Control and PDK modules which was done by Certified Porsche of Fort Myers
@Rod27 Hi Rod, I am not the original owner and do not know the MSRP and I do not have the original Window sticker.. In regards to the scrap, I bought the car with the scrape, it is pretty low to the ground. The paint is original condition. The car looks beautiful inside and out when you see it in person
Was this salt water flooded?
@Rod27 Hi Rod, thank you for your interest in the car and your comment. No the car was not submerged in water and the interior is all original. The carpet only got wet. The interior is in great condition and the car drives and operates like new.
couple more questions.....msrp/window sticker? And how does one scrape the TOP surface of the front lip?
did that storm happen to flood it with saltwater? Ian was his name i think?
