Modified with Soul Performance Over Axle Pipes, this this GT4 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with less than 6k miles showing on the odometer.
The GT4 can be distinguished from the contemporary 718 Cayman models by its more aggressive front fascia and spoiler, side air intake scoops, fixed rear wing, and a rear diffuser with integrated dual exhaust outlets. This example is finished in the traditional Porsche shade of Guards Red and features optional LED Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+). It rides on 20” GT4 wheels in Satin Black. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Showcasing optional Full Bucket Seats, the Black leather and Race-Tex interior was selected with red deviated stitching and Anthracite Brushed Aluminum trim. Optional details also include seatbelts in Guards Red, a red steering wheel 12 o’clock marker, instrument dials in Guards Red, a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial in Guards Red, steering column casing in leather, the Light Design Package, and illuminated stainless steel doorsill guards. Additional options include dual-zone automatic climate control, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, the BOSE Surround Sound System, Apple CarPlay including Siri, a smartphone compartment, auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, Voice Control, and Navigation including Porsche Connect. The seller notes that carbon fiber trim inlays have been added.
The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine is rated at 414 HP and features direct fuel injection, integrated dry-sump lubrication, adaptive cylinder control, and a variable intake manifold. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance features include an adaptive sport suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), dynamic transmission mounts, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) including a rear differential lock. Modifications include a BME air filter and Soul Performance Over Axle Pipes. The stock pipes will accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s manuals, a window sticker, two sets of keys, service records, a car cover, and the stock pipes.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. This is a mint example of a unique spec Guards Red GT4. Featuring the LWB’s, 6-speed manual with PDLS LIGHTS. All maintenance is up to date. Records, DME report, multi pt inspection all done by Porsche Sacramento. I bought this car as a certified preowned vehicle from Porsche Lehi Utah in December 2022 from the original owner with 500 miles at the time. This car has only been tracked one time with Hooked On Driving school to learn how the car handles. All maintenance records and reports are in the pictures. Car is stock besides soul performance over axle pipes (stocks come with purchase), wing risers, front PPF, BME air filter, vinyl hood wrap and carbon fiber interior trim inlays that are removable if wanted. Car is in perfect shape, no paintwork, body work, everything works flawlessly. Car comes with a car cover, 2 sets of keys, owners manual, window sticker, Porsche souvenir, service records, stock over axle pipes.”

@3gGT01 I guess we will see how this all shakes out! Whoever wins this auction will be really pleased with this particular car I do know that
@Jbeebs12 It may depend on how high your reserve is or maybe not... :)
@3gGT01 again if that taillight is covered under warranty and an oil change is still left on my pre paid maintenance I’ll have everything taken care of prior to the new owner picking it up, if we end up with a lucky winner today.
@Jbeebs12 No problem, thanks Jbeebs!
@3gGT01 I’ll be golfing with him this afternoon won’t be able to find out until about 11:30 unfortunately but will ask. Best of luck today!
@Jbeebs12 Hi Jebeebs, Any luck checking with your dealer/advisor on that right tail light?
Was just checking on Porsche warranty:
2-year warranty for genuine Porsche parts. I'm pretty sure that it is out of warranty for this particular part, based on the original delivery date. I'm thinking the warranty for this sort of thing was out on 08 Jan 2024. But, I could be wrong!
@Jbeebs12 Yes, I won't worry about that diffuser, either repair or replace, done deal. Stuff happens!
@Jbeebs12 Thanks for the update on the PPF. They must have done a good job, didn't see any lines.
@3gGT01 definitely not a parking curb I would have known. Most likely just light rash from rubbing slightly on a driveway. Just cosmetic not a big issue
@3gGT01 yes it has ppf on the panels next to the side vents ( in front of back wheels) on both sides of the car
Hi all, we are in the last hours of this auction. Best of luck to all! It’s really a prime example of a rare spec CPO GT4. Hate to see it go but have a growing family and I don’t drive it as much as I would like. I’ll be available until about an hour left in this auction to answer any last minute questions!
@Jbeebs12 Nice little square notch and scrape going to it on photo 53. That's got to be a parking curb where the top is flat with has sharp concrete edges. Oh well! If I'm able to get the car, I will replace it. Keeping my fingers crossed!
@Jbeebs12 You mentioned all the locations the PPF was put on, but does it have PPF on the body panels near the bottom where the wheels spray road debris from both front and rear tires? Usually that is a very common location to protect.
@3gGT01 absolutely I’m happy to have it looked at. If it’s covered I’ll have that done for you and I believe I have another oil change on my paid maintenance package if I do I’ll have that done as well if you are the lucky winner!
@Jbeebs12 Normally that would be an issue at the seam where the lense meets the back cover section. They may be able to seal it, if they can figure out exactly where it is coming from. But would be worth fixing...
@3gGT01 not sure, haven’t really given much thought as it goes away in a few days after a wash. I can check though, again just a small cosmetic thing that can be easily fixed if needed. I haven’t had any issues with it not working so I just let it be but can check with my service advisor
@3gGT01 just saw it, definitely not major. Service tech would have mentioned it from his inspection. Might from going over a higher speed bump at the wrong angle definitely cosmetic
@Jbeebs12 I'm guessing that right rear tail light that's leaking moisture is not covered under warranty. If it were, I'm assuming you would have had them replace it. MSRP for right rear tail light looks to be $1088.61 from Porsche + installation cost.
Major damage to diffuser on right rear side in the back underneath. Picture 53. Check with your phone, very clear to see. Looks to have been backed up hard into a curb, if I had to guess. Does this GT4 have the rear park assist? Have you checked on cost to replace the rear bumper diffuser?
@Xavierclock13 sorry I missed your comment busy work day. Will have to get a picture Thursday of the hood. Currently traveling. Currently the soul OAP’s are installed. I have the stock ones and they will convey with the sale. No issues with any of the lights a little condensation has always appeared in the right tail light when I wash it but always drys out after a few days. No issues past or present on that end. Sierra central is credit union. For the CPO I was told it’s 2 years after the manufacturer warranty but feel free to call Porsche for specifics on that warranty and how long it is. They will have all of the answers. Hope this helps!
2 days left, Jbeeb12. Can I get a response from my previous post: Thank you for the timeliness of your responses. Again car looks great. Can we actually get one more shot of the hood/trying to better of that carbon weave and how real it looks. So for clarification after your last response, will it come with the Soul headers on or off? When I read your ad, I came to the conclusion you were going to reinstall the stock headers. Also can you explain the condensation on the rear tail light on the passenger side. It appears to be on the inside of the housing which would indicate there is a hole causing the condensation (I can tell it was pretty cold out in your startup video - but there shouldn't be condensation on the inside even when cold/wet out). Any issues with any of the other lenses (headlights)? Thank you again in advance. Can I ask the credit union so I can reach out regarding their process (I assume in Roseville)?
Also can you post a clear (clearer) scan of the CPO documentation reflecting the 1/2028 extension? Typically it's 2yrs/unlimited miles. 1/2028 would be well beyond that. Thnx again cheers.
@3gGT01 I am golfing with my service advisor Friday and can see if he can get me in for a quick oil change but just had the 30k major service done a few weeks back and they double checked everything is good to go and oil was checked and confirmed to spec at that time! Best of luck!
@3gGT01 either way I will make it easy on you!
I'm 1,805 miles from you. Correct me if wrong, the last oil change was Nov 2023 at 2,778 miles. Also you tracked the GT4 once with that oil. So 2,761 miles on oil currently. I change my vehicle oil between 4000-4500 miles max. Sooner if I were to track a car. Due to the track time I would likely haul the GT4 to its' new home. Yes, I'm just a finicky on my vehicles as you are. I have a large shop I built and a lift to do all my own maintenance. I don't like anybody working on my cars...and with good reasons. There are good mechanics out there, but I like doing my own work. No worries when I do my own work...
@Jbeebs12
Hi Jbeebs12, I like your door guard in your cold start video! Nothing wrong with a little added protection.
I hope I can buy your car. Just case, I will double check my car trailer is ready to go. I guess the other option would be to fly out and drive it home. I'm going to check how many miles are on the GT4 since the last oil change and also trip distance. Keeping my fingers crossed on winning the bid!

@Xavierclock13 no worries was doing it in a rush this morning with work. Soul performance has some great videos on YouTube with their over axle pipes outside and cold start with a check for sure. It does come with the stock pipes and can be reverted back to stock if you wish.
I am listed on the CA registration and a lien will need to be paid off through my local credit union. Super easy. Best of luck!
JBeebs12, Thnx for posting the cold start video. Car looks great. For future reference, touch the tail pipes and the exhaust canister before you start the car (it validates the car is actually performing a cold start for serious buyers/people in the know). Also it would be best to do this outside/not in an enclosed area. Being in the "shelter" changes the sound of the exhaust note/echo effect. Look forward to seeing where the car lands. Also for confirmation, appears there is a lien on the car per your listing data. Is the car title in your name as the owner with the bank? Also is the current title CA or UT?
@3gGT01 thanks for the kind words and for your interest! It’s a great spec already the added decals make it in my opinion, I get a lot of compliments at my local cars and coffee haha.
Not sure on the flush but they have done all of the major and minor recommended Porsche services for the years and miles. 20 &30k major services done.
I am OCD about taking care of my cars I have them do a multi pt inspection every-time I bring it in which has been about 6 times in 24 months of ownership :)
Well, I like it a lot! I think the red and black accents work well together and the black hood makes it look a bit like a GT4 RS Weissach. But your GT4 has the manual tranny option and that is what my wife and I want. Normally I'm not big on black rims, but in this case this work nicely with the red calipers and red body color!
Question, I reviewed all the photos including the maintenance, I was kind of surprised they didn't flush the hydraulic fluid for the clutch. I'm not sure what the GT4 schedule calls for though. But if I'm lucky enough to win the bid, I will change it. I see that you didn't let them wash it at the dealer, I would be the same way. Glad to see you are particulous on maintaining the GT4. I take excellent care of my vehicles, so if I win the bid, no worries, it will be in good hands.
@Xavierclock13 no worries at all, be on the look out for the cold start exterior video that will be uploaded to the listing shortly!
Thnx for the quick response. I may be missing something, but I see the idle video but not a cold start video (cold start typically you will touch the exhaust tips/canister and we have an opportunity to hear the note from startup/grunt). I guess it doesn't matter anyways with the aftermarket Soul headers being removed. When you remove the "over the axle pipes" or headers the sound will change since there will be more backpressure/restriction vs the Soul's. Good luck with the auction and I look forward to seeing what it goes for. I could be your huckleberry depending on where it lands.
@Xavierclock13 thanks for clarifying and your interest!
see below
1.) it is just a vinyl wrap over PPF ( it can peel right off if you wanted keeping the PPF on and in tack)
2.) it has the stock exhaust just the soul over axle pipes are currently installed and the stock over axle pipes will convey with the sale of the car. Cold start video is in the listing. Valves remain open no drone noted throughout rev range.
3.) not sure on the operating hours, I uploaded both pages of the DME report feel free to reach out to Porsche Sacramento ask for Louie he’s my service manager and has the history of the car from when I took ownership in 12/22. Recent multi pt inspection and video of it on lift are also in the comments and pictures of the listing.
4.)I bought the car from Porsche Lehi and it came with tinted windows and front facing ppf, hood, bumper, side mirrors all have PPF that was installed by previous owner and is in great shape.
Wheels are in perfect shape, no paint work, chips major scratches or bodywork have been done to the car. It’s really in great shape, I know everyone says that about their car but I detail it weekly. It’s therapy for me :)
@Xavierclock13 I apologize I didn't see all the info you had included in the add at the bottom. #1 The hood is not carbon...your ad says vinyl wrap? #2 Also has the exhaust already been removed (you seem to elude to the Sould exhaust not be included)? Please provide a standard cold start (touch the pipes for confirmation) with the stock or whatever exhaust will be included with this auction so the exhaust note can be heard. #3 DME Operating hours would be great. #4 PPF measurements (mil's reading...not all PPF is created equal) would also be helpful and what does front mean from your description? Thnx for your time.
I see the DME in your pics in your ad. What is the total operating hours? It's part of the standard DME readout/determine average speed of life of car (but I don't see it in the images on DME). Also any track time/history. No PPF? What cosmetic issues are on the car? I see what appears to be some light flaws on the wheels? Do you have the OEM hood? What is the brand of the carbon hood you have on. Thnx in advance.
Bid in the amount of $82,022
Good to luck to all of the bidders. I’ll be available for any questions during this auction. This is a prime example of a rare spec certified pre owned GT4! The CPO warranty is transferable and is good to 1/2028! 20k,30k miles major services have been completed by my local Porsche dealership along with a multi pt inspection and DME report in pics! See below link from my
Porsche dealership to see a video of the inspection when it was on the lift. Happy bidding!
