Commemorating the 25th anniversary of Porsche’s iconic mid-engine roadster in a limited series of 1,250 units worldwide, the Porsche Boxster 25 Years is based on the 718 GTS 4.0 model. It features unique Neodyme exterior accents, special two-tone 20” wheels, the Sport Chrono Package, a sports exhaust system, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Bordeaux Red leather upholstery, 14-way power Sport Seats, and a heated GT Sport multifunction steering wheel. This 2022 example is finished in Carrara White Metallic and equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, optional PASM Sport Suspension, Power Steering Plus, and the Premium Package. This dealer-maintained, one-owner Boxster 25 Years is now being offered for auction in Massachusetts, with approximately 35k miles showing on the odometer.
Drawing inspiration from the original 1993 Porsche Boxster concept car, this special edition features Neodyme accents on the front apron, side air intakes, and lettering. Other unique details include a contrasting black windscreen frame, “Boxster 25” lettering embossed on the convertible top, aluminum-look sport exhaust tailpipes, and unique two-tone 20” alloy wheels. This example is finished in Carrara White Metallic with a black convertible top. The car is equipped with LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+), headlamp washers, LED taillights, rain-sensing wipers, power-folding and auto-dimming mirrors, parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The seller notes that the full exterior is preserved by paint protection film, and new tires were installed in 2024. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the Boxster 25 Years showcases Bordeaux Red full leather upholstery, brushed aluminum trim pieces, 14-way power sport seats, a heated GT Sport multifunction steering wheel, “Boxster 25” door sills, and a limitation badge above the glovebox. This example is equipped with the optional Premium Package, which adds the Light Design Package, Porsche Entry & Drive, a luggage net in the passenger footwell, and the BOSE Surround Sound System. Other features include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, optional Voice Control, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM). A small scratch is noted near the ignition switch.
The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine produces up to 394 HP and 317 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). The Boxster 25 Years comes standard with the Sport Chrono Package and a sports exhaust system. This example also features optional Power Steering Plus and PASM Sport Suspension with a 20mm lowered ride height. The seller indicates the car has been maintained by a Porsche dealer, including a major 30k-mile service with all new brakes.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a tire inflator, and a clean title.

This is still way too cheap, people don't seem to realize this is literally a GTS 4.0 with basically every option + the factory porsche short shifter ( the variant that comes with the spyder and GT4) Great package with a great color combo. This is still equivalent mile 981 money.

@iconrpm - Beautiful Boxster! Just to be clear, this vehicle has no lemon law/manufacturer buyback history and the sticker on the windshield is just a generic sticker required by MA for dealers to display on all cars for sale?

It seems PTV is the standard system that utilizes a mechanical rear differential lock and braking to improve cornering and stability. PTV Plus is a more advanced version that features an electronically controlled rear differential lock, allowing for fully variable torque distribution for improved optimal cornering handling performance. This is why we are so passionate about our Porsches.
@Glenn930 My understanding is that PTV is a mechanical limited slip differential which is what you definitely want in a sports car.
PTV+ uses the rear brakes and is offered either in conjunction with a mechanical diff or completely without a mechanical unit, as is the case in some Macans and Taycans.
For reference, even the GT4 doesn’t have PTV+

Does the GTS trim only includes the standard PTV, where the rear differential lock is regulated mechanically. or the preferred optional ‘PTV Plus’ which offers fully variable torque distribution being equipped with electronic control.
@Glenn930 PTV is standard on the GTS trim, along with Sport Chrono and Sport PASM. That's what makes these a great package, in addition to the 4.0 motor! Thanks
Yes Iconrpm, I agree with your below comment that the majority of the buying public would probably prefer a black convertible soft top.
On another note, please correct me if I missed it, but I noticed your description indicates ‘Porsche Torque Vectoring’ (PTV) but I do not see it itemized on the window sticker. Please clarify at your convenience.

@Glenn930 Funny you mention that. I like the colored tops as well..had the blue top on my personal GTS 4.0 in Arctic Grey. However, based on our experience selling these there is definitely a preference for black tops in the market!

Hi all, thanks for your interest in this Boxster GTS 25 Years.
The car is exactly as described. Only imperfection to note is the small scratch pictured near the ignition switch. It also has a clean DME with no over revs. When we received the car, it needed new front pads and the rotors were almost worn out. We went ahead and replaced both rotors and pads, and receipts for this work will be provided to the next owner. We also replaced the rubber weather stripping by the driver's side door because it was peeling off.
As of now, the car needs absolutely nothing. It has already received the 30k mile service, and also has new Michelins mounted on the factory wheels.
