Up for auction is this 2022 Land Rover Defender 110 V8 Bond Edition finished in Santorini Black over a black leather/Dinamica interior. Inspired by the Defenders that appear in the latest James Bond film No Time To Die, the Defender V8 Bond Edition was designed by Land Rover’s SVO Bespoke department and features an extended black theme as well as unique suspension and transmission tuning, a new electronic active rear differential, and 5.0L supercharged engine producing over 500 HP. One of only 300 examples produced in total, this 2022 Bond Edition is now being offered by its seller out of California having been driven less than 50 miles.
The Defender Bond Edition is finished in Santorini Black (1AG) and features the Extended Black Pack which appoints a gloss black finish to the front and rear skid plates, grille bar, bonnet chequer finisher, badges, lower body cladding, and wheel arches. The Bond Edition also features a “Defender 007” rear emblem, Xenon Blue brake calipers, and “007” projector puddle lamps. Model-exclusive 22’ Luna Gloss Black wheels come mounted with Continental Cross Contact all-terrain tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery.
The interior is upholstered in black leather with matching Dinamica accents in the seats and steering wheel. Model-specific highlights include a specialized “007” animation upon start-up, illuminated 007 tread plates, and laser-etched detailing including an SV Bespoke logo and “One of 300”. Amenities include a 10.0” Pivi Pro infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic climate control, satin metal touchpoints, aluminum shift paddles, a 3D surround camera with ClearSight ground view, keyless entry, cabin air ionization, and wireless device charging.
The Defender Bond Edition is powered by a 5.0L supercharged V8 which produces up to 518 HP and 461 lb.-ft of torque. A ZF 8-speed automatic transmission drives all four wheels through an electronic rear differential and two-speed transfer case, allowing the Defender to propel itself to 60 MPH in less than 5 seconds. The Bond Edition also received a model-specific suspension and transmission tuning, and unique spring and damper rates for the standard electronic air suspension. The V8 Defender includes stiffer bushings and larger anti-roll bars, and the new electronic rear differential that works in tandem with a new Dynamic Drive mode as part of the Defender's Terrain Response 2 program.
This sale will include a set of two keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, and a clean title.

A short video / walk around of the vehicle running has been added to the listing. As I am trying to preserve the maximum “as new” experience for the new owner, there is no drive. This car went from dealership unwrapped and delivery prep to indoor storage. Our only for the photo shoot.

I'm just gonna say it: the 007 puddle lights are insanely dorky. It's the car equivalent of a guy wearing a full NBA jersey and shorts to a pickup basketball game. Otherwise sweet car.
@contender - The 300 global 110 plus 90 Bond number is Rover’s official count. The 90 vs 110 and per country count is not public. Allegedly no 90 Bonds for the US. Another known / leading online auction Platform just sold a 90 Bond for €178,000 this week. Believe 110s have a higher market value.
@ashcraftcollection - $107,500 base for a V8 110, $119,095 full msrp after options and delivery. Three photos. Sticker would not legibly be shot w/ one photo w/ the factory tint. Leaving sticker removal for next owner.
@JNasty - the 300 number is confirmed by many online sources while the 63 number is harder to confirm. Several dealers told me that 63 was for the US and that was reflected in the fact that even the larger LR dealers in my area did not receive even a single one.
I could be wrong but I suspect this vehicle will go for $50k or more over list.....
@JNasty still not seeing full MSRP
@secretcollector - thanks for the bid!
Bid in the amount of $110,007
@Contender - interesting and agree! Where did your 63 number come from?
@JNasty - I believe there are only 63 Bond Editions that came to the US (300 in total for the world). I own one as well and totally agree with your analysis that the ride is better than the G wagon (and certainly more rare). I sold my 2021 G63AMG and my 2021 G550 in lieu of the Bond Defender; both drove more like trucks where the Defender was more sophisticated - but just as competent off road.
My understanding is that these were selling WAY OVER list - most dealerships (who were tacking $10-$15k on top of regular Defenders for 'market adjustments') were getting $40-$60k over list for the Bonds.
@ericsu @Sundevil4life - thanks! To be honest, the Bond was the only V8 build allocation I could secure. Dunno where you live, but in LA, a V8 Defender 110 is far more rare than a G63 or G550. And a Bond more rare still. I had a "regular" Defender 110 X fully loaded for 18 months. The 400HP version. The ride is WAY better than a G, even the new one. And the V8 is all that but more FUN and fast than the X. The Defender was Motor Trend SUV of the year. I've owned G wagons, AMG MLs, Range Rovers. Loved my Defenders. This just came many months late and I just got a delivery date for my 2023 all new full size Range. And my wife hated the Taycan Cross Turismo I bought her in Jan., so I need to take that over as my daily drive. Who knows how long this car market lasts, but I sold my used Defender 110X for more than I paid for it w/ 8500 miles on it.
Super cool built!

@Yags - I sent to @pcarmarket to upload to the gallery, $119,095.
Mr. Bond do you have the window sticker for this bespoke SUV?
@4orsche - thanks for the bid.
@ashcrestcoection - I will have P car post it. it’s $119,095 I believe.

Can you post MSRP/window sticker?
Welcome. Amazing truck here, but the supply chain weirdness put two of my ordered cars on the ground right on top of each other, with two more to follow closely. Only picked this one to auction as I spend 16 wonderful months in what used to be the top of the Defender 110 food chain, the X, in exactly this same exterior package but with the orange calipers. The extra 110 horsepower here is even more fun, especially with the dynamic mode and the new suspension tuning. AND you won't see another. Unlike a G63 where you see 20 a day in LA. This is the rarest big dog truck to have right now.
@RehovLLC12 - thanks for the bid!
