The Trailering Package further enhances capability with a trailer hitch and an integrated trailer brake controller.
The Lunar Horizon interior showcases Jet Black and Light Grey leather upholstery accented with Bronze trim and an “Edition 1” badge on the dashboard. Amenities include 12-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, a heated steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a 13.4” touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM, and OnStar. Additional features include a 14-speaker Bose premium sound system, keyless entry, remote start, wireless charging, and Super Cruise, enabling hands-free driving and automatic lane changes. Apollo 11-inspired design elements include lunar surface-patterned speaker grilles and rubber floor mats, a pre-launch countdown for Watts To Freedom launch control, and themed graphics for the digital displays.
Power comes from GM’s Ultium Drive system, which integrates three electric motors to deliver a claimed 1,000 HP and 11,500 lb.-ft of torque. The single-motor front-drive unit features an electronic locking differential, while the rear axle utilizes two motors that can synchronize to simulate a locking rear differential. With the Watts to Freedom launch control system, the Hummer EV achieves 0-60 MPH in just 3 seconds and has a factory-estimated range of 329 miles. The battery pack supports 800V/350-kW fast charging for rapid replenishment, while a standard charging adapter allows for slower charging via conventional outlets. Additional performance features include the CrabWalk four-wheel steering system for diagonal movement, adaptive air suspension with Extract Mode, which raises the ride height by up to 6 inches, adaptive dampers, and regenerative braking.
