Reintroduced in 2020 after a 25-year hiatus, the Ford Bronco promises toughness and spirit through advanced 4x4 abilities and updated retro styling. Marked as the extreme off-roading version, this 2022 Badlands model comes equipped with an optional 10-speed automatic transmission, the Mid Package (332A), a removable hard top, and various off-road performance features. Showing less than 2k miles on the odometer, this Bronco is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Michigan.
Finished in Iconic Silver Metallic, the Badlands series features rock rails, underbody protection shields, and modular bumpers. This example features the Sasquatch Package, which includes 17” high-gloss black Beadlock wheels, a high clearance suspension, and high clearance fender flares. It rides on a set of new Goodyear Territory MT tires. The hardtop and doors can easily be removed and stowed away when not in use. This Bronco is powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost engine generating 300 HP and 325 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. The drivetrain can be toggled between 4WD Low, 4WD High, 4WD Automatic, and 2WD High using a dial mounted near the gear selector. The Bronco uses a body-on-frame construction with independent front suspension and a five-link coilover suspension with a solid axle in the rear. The Badlands model comes standard with electronic locking front and rear differentials, the HOSS Suspension System with Bilstein PSDs, and hydraulic disconnecting sway bars to increase articulation when crawling and automatically reconnect at speed.
