The 8th-generation Chevrolet Corvette ushered in a new era for GMs flagship sports car, featuring a mid-engine layout for the first time in the brand’s year history. This 2022 Corvette Stingray Convertible was ordered in Ceramic Matrix Gray over a Tension/Twilight Blue leather interior and was delivered new to Phillips Chevrolet of Illinois. It came optioned with 3LT Preferred Equipment Group, the Z51 Performance Package, a front suspension lift system, carbon-fiber interior trim, Carbon Flash painted exterior accents and Carbon Flash-finished wheels. Showing just over 50 miles driven since new and remaining under the care of its original owner, this 2022 Corvette Convertible is now being offered for auction out of Ohio.
The exterior is finished in Ceramic Matrix Gray Metallic (G9F) and features a power-operated retractable hardtop painted in Carbon Flash in addition to the front spoiler, side air intakes, rear wing, and rear diffuser. Equipment includes LED headlights with daytime running lights, power-adjustable and heated side mirrors, black brake calipers with red Z51 logos, quad polished exhaust outlets, and black Corvette badging. The staggered 19”/20” 5-spoke aluminum wheels are finished in Carbon Flash with a machined lip and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The exterior received an application of ceramic coating by the original selling dealership and the windows have been professionally tinted as well. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is upholstered in two-tone Tension Blue leather with a contrasting Twilight Blue dashboard, center console, two-tone door panels, and carbon-fiber trim. The 8-way power-adjustable GT2 bucket seats feature heating and cooling functions with Tension Blue seatbelts and matching premium carpeted floor mats. The optional 3LT Convertible Preferred Equipment Package adds an 8” Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system with navigation, a 14-speaker Bose audio system, heads-up display, an HD front curb camera, a performance data and video recorder, a heated leather steering wheel, wireless charging, and a rear cross-traffic alert system as well as a side blind zone alert. Standard equipment includes a rearview camera with Rear Park Assist, a customizable 12” digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, and remote start.
The C8 is powered by a mid-mounted 6.2L LT2 V8, which sends as much as 490 HP and 465 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a Tremec 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in under 3 seconds. This C8 came optioned with the Z51 Performance Package which equips an electronic limited-slip differential with performance gearing, Z51 suspension components, a heavy-duty cooling system, Z51 Performance brakes, and the Performance Exhaust System, which provides a slight increase in power and gives the Corvette a more aggressive tone. The seller reports the delivery inspection and service have been completed, and that the remainders of the 3-year/36k-Mile comprehensive and 5-year/60K powertrain warranties may be transferred to the next owner.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s manuals, and the original window sticker.

Good morning rocketman, I have not had any issues with the car starting. I do start the car often, just to hear the roar of the engine when it starts. The Z51 package has a fantastic sound when the car is started.
@rzxjpj Hi @rzxjpj .....So since you don't have a battery tender you have not had the car connected to one since you purchased it ? Any issue with the car not starting ?

Thank you rocketman for your questions. Richjs43 answered the question about using a battery tender. A battery tender did not come with the car. Chevrolet dealerships sale battery tenders in their parts department.
@rocketman : sorry for the misspellings( auto spell check in control???). Anyway, this C8 is awesome!!! All the goodies: 3 LT, Convertible, Z51 package, doesn’t get better than this.
@rocketman I own a 2022 C82LT…it is recommended that you place the car on a battery tender if the car is used infrequently. Chevrolet makes it easy to do, there is a 12 volt socket in the frunk (front compartment), which is always active. I keep my car on the tender every time it is in the garage.
By the this C8 is awesome, congrats to the wonder. The 2023 C8 has almost a $3k price increase, waiting periods are still very long.
Do these cars have to be maintained on a trickle charger in order to prevent the battery from dying and, if so, is the charger included ? Thanks
Thank you Yags for your bid and getting this party started. I went to a Cars and Coffee event on Saturday and I saw several beautiful C8 corvettes. There were also many other great looking cars. However, the new design C8 corvettes seems to stand out among most of the other cars at the event.
