It is our pleasure to present this 2022 BMW F90 M5 CS finished in Individual Frozen Deep Green over a black Merino leather interior with Mugello Red stitching. Produced for the 2022 model year only, the M5 CS is the ultimate high-performance lightweight version of the F90 M5 featuring specialized carbon fiber body panels, carbon-fiber bucket seats, carbon-ceramic brakes, forged 20” wheels, and a retuned suspension. With its twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8 engine producing up to 627 HP, the M5 CS is the most powerful production BMW ever built. This example was originally delivered to California and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia showing just over 100 miles on the odometer.
This F90 was ordered in the model-specific BMW Individual color of Frozen Deep Green at an additional cost of $5,000. The M5 CS makes use of lightweight carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) for the hood, roof, front splitter, mirror caps, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler. CS-specific details include a special Gold Bronze finish applied to the kidney grille surround, model badging, and 20" Style 789M forged light-alloy wheels. Additional equipment on the CS includes adaptive full LED headlights with illuminated yellow surrounds as a tribute to BMW’s racing history, red M carbon-ceramic brake calipers, and high-gloss black Shadowline exterior trim. The wheels come dressed in a set of Pirelli P-Zero Corsa performance tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is configured in a 2+2 layout with aggressively bolstered lightweight carbon bucket seats in front and individual bucket seats for each passenger in the rear. The interior is trimmed in black Merino leather with Mugello Red accents, contrast stitching, and imprinted Nürburgring Nordschleife maps on each headrest. Other CS-specific details include a lightweight Merino leather center console with Mugello Red double-stitching, an M Alcantara steering wheel with a Mugello Red 12’oclock marking and red-trimmed carbon-fiber shift paddles, an Alcantara headliner, red “CS” badging on the instrument panel and between the rear bucket seats, M seatbelts with tri-color stitching, M5-badged velour floor mats with bespoke piping, and illuminated “M5 CS” icons on the door sill finishers. Standard features include remote engine start, Comfort Access keyless entry, 4-zone climate control, Park Distance Control, heads-up display, Active Driving Assistant, Live Cockpit Professional with iDrive 7.0, navigation, dual 12.3' digital screens, and a Harman Kardon surround sound system.
Beneath the M Power carbon engine cover is a 4.4L twin-turbocharged S63B44T4 V8 producing up to 627 HP and 553 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through an 8-speed M Sport automatic transmission with an Active M limited-slip differential. The M5 can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of 190 MPH. The rear-biased M xDrive all-wheel-drive system distributes the available torque between the front and rear axles via an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch, while the Active M Differential further optimizes power between the rear wheels for maximum grip and lateral dynamics. The CS receives model-specific spring and Dynamic Damper Control turning, M carbon-ceramic brakes, an M Sport Exhaust system, increased front negative camber, firmer springs and rear anti-roll bar, stiffened engine mounts, toe-link ball joint mounts, and Track Mode, which allows the driver to disable most of the electronic assists. This M5 CS has received its pre-delivery inspection from the original selling BMW dealer.
This sale will include a clean title (lien) and the original window sticker.

@OBenchemsi I’m not sure you know how an auction works.
You bid, others bid, and then there is a bunch of bids at the end.
We’ve been buying and selling on pcarmarket for years. You buy the seller as much as you buy the car. And I’m sorry, but being condescending and arguing with commenters usually counts the real buyers out early. I was prepared to pay alot more than my current bid, as I have a client that wants your specific car, who is also watching. We both agree, if this is how the seller acts during an auction, we don’t want to know what it’s like to deal with them and perfect their lien after the fact.
Good luck.
@BostonMotorsports1 Seeing your offer it didn’t look like it was going anywhere anyways. I wouldn’t want to deal with this type of buyer anyways. So yeah bye bye
And I’m out. If that’s the way seller is going to talk to other members here, I’m not confident in the after purchase process. I wish you luck.
I received my car last week (ordered in August). Identical build. BMW mispriced this car big time. Just have to experience the car in person. These seats blow the GT3 buckets out of the water. Over MSRP or ADM doesn't matter. These may just dethrone the E39 in a few years. The export market will keep the values high for years to come. GLWS.
@komodor19 you’re clearly not here to buy and that is pretty sad that some people are actually so bored. Very sad. You buy a car because you like the car not based on the reason the seller is selling it. I don’t even want to sell or deal with people like you who have such hate In them.
@OBenchemsi lol so what your are trying to say is that you are a flipper...
A lot of buyers don't want to buy a car from someone just trying to flip, just like a lot of people refuse to buy from dealers that price gouge and charge ADMs.
As a last message GLWS
@komodor19 why someone is selling a car is a question people ask in high school. What matters is how great is the car condition. Why people sell their cars shouldn’t be any of your business. Some flip, some are taking a job offer across the world, some have financial issues, some are sick. What does it matter to you if the car is brand new and has no issue? Their reason for selling is going to determine how much you should pay for it? No it doesn’t
@komodor19 you did hit a nerve. I don’t like time wasters.
I see my comment hit a nerve.
Btw asking why someone is selling an apparently brand new car is certainly not an irrelevant question.
I guess only time will tell who buys and what the price is in a few years.
GLWS
@komodor19 and FYI you clearly have a history of trying to manipulate others opinions. I won’t be selling unless it’s for the right price. I know the value of my car and I don’t mind keeping it. I’m not sure your motive of constantly posting on auctions without ever buying lol
@komodor19 ah you’re the same person always asking weird questions that are irrelevant but never bidding. I see. Why am I selling? How’s that relevant?
@komodor19 my comment clearly said that it is “estimated”. There are tons of articles claiming the opposite of what you are saying. This is not an M4 GTS and the idea behind the M5 CS is not comparable with the M4 GTS. Many critics are saying that it will indeed climb in value and looking at what it is doing in europe and Asia / Australia could be a good indicator. I don’t mean any disrespect but you are free to buy and bid at whatever price you personally feel comfortable and others will do the same
@OBenchemsi you might be correct about the future value of these M5CS car but history is not on your side. They said the same thing about the M4 GTS because it was a limited production car with only ~300 coming to the USA. https://carbuzz.com/news/bmw-ends-production-of-the-m4-gts-how-many-were-built-in-total
The MSRP on M4 GTS was around $135k new and you can buy them now for $80k with low miles (just search some popular auction sites); one with only 32-miles was recently sold for $109k with an original MSRP of $134k.
So assuming these are going to being selling in the "deep 200s" is being optimistic at best and is very misleading to bidders. Only reason the prices are high is because of people buying purely to flip the cars without having any intention to actually use the car...
More recently for cars like this "flippers" have been auctioning their cars online and the cars get bought by dealers (not an actual individual intending to use the car) that then tack on $10-20k to the price and sell finally sell it to someone that plans to drive it.
But saying that these are going to be selling deep into the $200k is just false advertising. BTW its hard to feel sorry for the guy that bought the $134k M4 GTS just to flip it and never drove it for 5 years just to lose $25k, maybe a lesson to be learned or not time will tell.
Thankfully, we don’t live down undah!
Let’s go guys, the price of these cars are estimated to only climb into deep in the 200s. In Australia the cheapest one is selling for the equivalent of $300,000. This is BMW farewell before probably moving to hybrid and they gave it all have. As a reminder, only about 400 of these exist on US soil and all allocations have been satisfied meaning from here forward it’ll be only used ones with mileage available
Bid in the amount of $135,000
@komodor19 the car is brand new and has zero issues
Why are you selling, was this car just bought to flip?
@alessio I AGREE !!
@alessio they indeed did a great job with this car ?
I have nothing to add other than this is one gorgeous piece of machinery
