Limited to just 150 examples, the 2022 BMW M4 Competition xDrive Coupe KITH Edition was created in collaboration with the New York City-based lifestyle brand KITH. This special-edition M4 is finished in Frozen Black Metallic over KITH Tricolor Upholstery and features several unique KITH-specific appointments, which are included at an additional cost of over $30k. It was further configured with M Carbon Bucket Seats, the M Carbon Exterior Package, M Shadowline Lights, the M Driver’s Package, and more. Showing less than 6k miles on the odometer, this rare M4 is now being offered for auction out of New York.
Finished in Frozen Black Metallic, this BMW M4 features optional M Shadowline Lights and the M Carbon Exterior Package, which includes carbon fiber mirror caps, front bumper air vents, and rear bumper side caps. KITH-specific appointments include a carbon fiber roof with KITH lettering, red brake calipers, and unique co-branded designations, marking the first time BMW roundels and M logos have been redesigned for a special-edition series. Standard equipment includes extended Shadowline trim and 19”/20” 826M black-painted wheels. Full paint protection film has been applied, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black Merino leather interior features KITH Tricolor Upholstery, M Carbon Bucket Seats with illuminated KITH lettering, and carbon-fiber trim. Additional options include the Driving Assistance Professional Package, which adds Active Driving Assistant Pro and Extended Traffic Jam Assistant, and the Executive Package, which includes remote engine start, power tailgate, gesture control, a head-up display, and a heated steering wheel. The M Drive Professional and M Driver’s Package were also selected. Factory features include a Harman Kardon sound system, M-specific seatbelts, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, Active Guard, Parking Assistant Plus, ConnectedDrive Services, Connected Package Pro, a drive recorder, and Live Cockpit Pro.
The M4 Competition houses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine factory-rated at 503 HP and 479 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission with sport and manual shift modes. BMW claims acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes 3.4 seconds, while Car and Drivertested the coupe at just 2.8 seconds. The ride and handling are assisted with M-developed Servotronic steering, an Adaptive M Suspension with electronically controlled dampers, M Compound brakes, an M Sport Differential, M Drive and M Driving Dynamics Control, and Dynamic Stability Control.
