This two-owner 2021 example represents the final model year of the VA series WRX and comes nicely equipped from the factory with Subaru’s Starlink 7.0 multimedia system, a 9-speaker premium audio system, the Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection System (SRVD), and more. It is now being offered for auction with the remainder of its factory warranties by its seller out of Idaho while showing just under 14k miles on the odometer.

Based on the Impreza model, the WRX uses an entirely different front end, rear quarters, and rear doors. This example is finished in Lapis Blue Pearl and features LED fog lights and steering responsive headlights, a rear lip spoiler, and the WRX’s characteristic hood scoop. The seller describes the finish to be in excellent overall condition aside from a small scratch on the driver’s side quarter panel. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. It rides on a set of 18” aluminum-alloy wheels which are dressed in a set of Dunlop Sport Maxx tires.

The cabin is trimmed in Carbon Black leather with contrasting red stitching and carbon fiber inlays on the dashboard. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a power moonroof, Keyless access with push button start, aluminum pedal covers, and power-operated seats, windows, and door locks. Factory options include Option Package 22 which adds the Subaru Starlink 7.0 Multimedia Navigation System, a 440-watt Harman Kardon sound system, and the Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection System (SRVD), as well as Popular Package #1 which adds a center armrest, wheel locks, a mirror compass with Homelink, and a cargo tray. The seller confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories are functional.

Power comes from a FA20F 2.0L twin-scroll turbocharged, direct-injected 4-cylinder boxer engine. As much as 268 HP and 258 lb.-ft of torque are sent to all four wheels by way of Subaru’s renowned symmetrical all-wheel drive system and a 6-speed manual transmission. The WRX comes equipped as standard with a firm sport-tuned suspension as well as Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) which adjusts torque distribution, engine output, and can apply braking at each wheel to maintain stability. The seller reports that this WRX has been dealer serviced and will come with the remainder of its factory 3-year/ 36k mile full and 5-year/60k mile powertrain warranties which began on 05/20/2021.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a clean title.

@SVAutoClub @SVAutoShep actually it means that the vehicles left and right side are perfectly symmetrical in terms of the rolling chassis. With a flat horizontally opposed boxer engine sitting low in the engine bay and all equal length half shafts you could fold the drivetrain in half and it would line up perfectly. This is why they call it Symmetrical All Wheel Drive or SAWD. WRX’s actually are a 50-50 front to back unless they are CVT’s but that’s not the normal SAWD torque distribution.

All of that being said GLWTA.

@Analog_911 This is a stock WRX, with no mods so the information you are looking for is readily available online. "symmetrical all-wheel drive system" refers to 50 % of the power going to the front wheels and 50% to the rear - thus symmetrical.

@SVAutoShep - 250 HP for this mid-sized car seems like a lot, which explains why these cars are known as great drivers and a lot of fun, but can you explain what's meant by the "symmetrical all-wheel drive system"?

Also would like to knop some of the more mundane stats: Gas tank size, MPG, distance to stop from 60-mph, etc.

The engine has hydraulic lifters, not solid lifters, right?
