Midwest Automotive Designs is an Indiana-based luxury recreational vehicle builder specializing in high-end Mercedes-Benz Sprinter conversions. This Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 High Top Crew Van comes finished in Obsidian Black Metallic over a Grey leather interior and was originally produced for the 2021 model year prior to its complete conversion by Midwest Automotive Designs in 2023. It features the 4x4 Package, a VB air suspension system, a Renntech Performance tune, 17” Rhino wheels, a 32” LED television, custom faux wood floor, diamond-stitched leather swivel bucket seats, and much more. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey while showing under 250 miles on its odometer.
This 170” wheelbase high-roof Sprinter comes finished in Obsidian Black Metallic and came factory equipped with the chrome grill and exterior lighting packages which add LED headlights and taillights among other features. During its conversion by Midwest Automotive Designs, a host of exterior upgrades and accessories were installed including fiberglass running boards and color-keyed body moldings. Additional images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. It rides on a set of black-finished 17” Rhino alloy wheels dressed in BFGoodrich K02 tires.
The cabin offers seating for eight including captain chairs and a folding rear bench upholstered in grey leather with custom diamond stitched inserts and custom faux wood flooring. It came factory equipped with an array of premium packages as well as a host of safety features including Attention Assist, Active Distance Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and the Parking Package with a 360-degree camera. The cabin has been upgraded with a rear entertainment center featuring a 32” LED smart television, headphones, window shades, a rear climate control system, massaging front seats, custom satin-finished burled wood trim, and a 2,000-watt inverter system.
Power comes from a 3.0-liter Turbodiesel V6 engine that drives all four wheels by way of a 7G-TRONIC automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case. It comes factory equipped with the 4x4 Package and 4-wheel disc brakes and has been upgraded with a Renntech tune as well as a VB air suspension system. A new battery was recently installed and has been kept on a tender when the van is not in use.
